71st Senior National Women's Kabaddi Championship: Day 2 Results

Indian Railways, Rajasthan continued their dominance in the 71st Senior National Women’s Kabaddi Championship.

Day 2 of the 71st Senior National Women’s Kabaddi Championship saw some thrilling encounters, with teams fighting hard to stay in the competition. The morning session started with West Bengal securing a convincing 37-22 win over Madhya Pradesh, while Uttar Pradesh edged past Gujarat 42-36 in a close contest. Goa displayed great resilience to defeat Manipur 45-35, and Chandigarh dominated Telangana with a massive 63-19 victory.

Chhattisgarh outplayed Odisha 48-33, while Delhi had a commanding 47-12 win over Jharkhand. Punjab crushed Jammu & Kashmir 39-2, and Pondicherry held off Bihar in a 42-33 battle. Goa continued their strong performance with a dominant 56-16 win against Vidarbha, Karnataka outclassed Kerala 53-22, and Tamil Nadu scraped past Uttarakhand with a narrow 28-26 win. Haryana and Manipur fought until the last moment, but Haryana clinched a hard-fought 45-43 victory.

The evening session of day 2 of the 71st Senior National Women’s Kabaddi Championship saw more intense action, starting with West Bengal and Gujarat playing out a thrilling 21-21 draw. Uttar Pradesh secured another win, beating Madhya Pradesh 42-28. Himachal Pradesh easily defeated Telangana 48-11, while Maharashtra put in a strong performance to win 49-31 against Chhattisgarh. Indian Railways showcased their dominance with a 48-20 victory over Delhi, and Rajasthan overcame Bihar 47-34.

In a highly competitive match, Tamil Nadu outplayed Punjab 28-19. Uttarakhand made quick work of Jammu & Kashmir, winning 41-19, while Goa pulled off an upset against Haryana, securing a 24-17 victory. Karnataka continued their winning streak with a 34-14 win over Andhra Pradesh. Gujarat bounced back with a solid 50-29 victory against Madhya Pradesh, and Manipur edged out Vidarbha 36-30. The day ended with Uttar Pradesh defeating West Bengal 36-30 in a closely contested match.
