Pardeep Narwal likely to play in PKL season 12
Pardeep Narwal could score only 111 points in PKL 11.
The ‘Dubki King’ Pardeep Narwal reached the milestone of crossing 1800 raid points in season 11. He became the first raider in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League to do so and has set up a monstrous number for the upcoming generation to chase. After PKL Season 11, a big update has come out regarding the future of PKL’s star raider Pardeep Narwal.
Update on Pardeep Narwal’s future
Pardeep Narwal went through a bad phase in PKL season 11. not only did he struggle to score points, but Bengaluru’s performance under his captaincy was also very disappointing. While the team finished at the bottom of the table, Narwal could only manage to score 111 points in 20 matches with a success rate of 48.05%.
Seeing his poor performance, everyone felt that this season was perhaps Pardeep’s last season. However, now a good news has come for Kabaddi fans. According to Khel Now’s sources, Pardeep Narwal will come back in season 12 and play one more season to end his career on a high.
Pardeep Narwal’s stellar career
Pardeep Narwal began his PKL career in season 2 with Bengaluru Bulls. However, he did not get any big opportunities and was acquired by Patna Pirates in the next season, and that is where the star bloomed. Narwal played five seasons for the Pirates and won three PKL trophies.
He scored 1151 raid points for the Pirates in those five seasons, including two 300+ scores in season 5 and season 7 respectively. Later, he was bought by UP Yoddhas, for whom Narwal scored 530 points in 3 seasons. In the latest season, Narwal returned to the Bulls but couldn’t produce the same numbers.
Narwal hasn’t been in his top form since leaving Pirates. His form has been dipping since, and he hasn’t been able to get back to his prime form or even near that.
Pardeep Narwal aspires to finish on a high note
The Dubki King has had a series of low-performing seasons. However, his potential has never been the question, his quickness, and agility might be. Despite the last few poor seasons, the raiding legend has decided to get out there on the court yet again and will be looking to get a big season before he ends his legendary Pro Kabaddi League career.
He certainly has plenty of time to train, get back to fitness, and pick up some new skills before taking charge in PKL 12.
What do you think of this decision of the King who dominated the PKL world once? Should he continue his legendary career for another season? Or do you think he should have ended it after achieving the massive 1800-point milestone? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
