Defending champions Puneri Paltan are sitting at the top of the PKL 11 Points Table with three wins from four games. The Pune-based outfit kicked off the PKL campaign with two consecutive losses against Haryana Steelers and Patna Pirates.

Following this they succumbed to a narrow loss to Tamil Thalaivas. But the Aslam Inamdar-led outfit bounced back to the winning ways in PKL with a stellar 14-point win against Pardeep Narwal’s Bengaluru Bulls.

As for Bengal Warriorz they have had a mixed start to their PKL 11 campaign. Although they started the tournament with a loss against Jaipur Pink Panthers, they backed it with a win over UP Yoddhas. In their most recent game, Bengal were held to a 31-31 draw against U Mumba.

Following his release from the UP Yoddhas, the Warriorz invested in him at the auction, hoping to reignite his defensive prowess. However, his start with the Warriorz has been modest.

In his first three games, Nitesh has managed only 5 tackle points with a tackle success rate of 45%, averaging 1.66 successful tackles per match. His performance has been inconsistent; after scoring a single tackle point against the Pink Panthers, he was unable to add to his tally against his former team, the Yoddhas. But he bounced back to get 4 against U Mumba.

Gaurav Khatri (Puneri Paltan):

Gaurav Khatri has swiftly proven himself as a vital defensive asset for Puneri Paltan in PKL 11, stepping into the big shoes left by former star defender Mohammadreza Chiyaneh. Known for his sharp ankle holds and effective chain tackles, Gaurav has accumulated 18 tackle points across four matches, maintaining an impressive 72% tackle success rate.
