Bengaluru Bulls sit at the bottom of the PKL 11 points table with 4 consecutive losses.

The second week of Pro Kabaddi League season 11 (PKL 11) will turn up a notch when Pardeep Narwal-led Bengaluru Bulls will look to change their fortunes as they take on Dabang Delhi.

Bengaluru Bulls came into PKL 11 with lots of hopes and confidence following the return of their prodigal son, the ‘Dubki’ king Pardeep Narwal. But what unfolded next was just mayhem. For the first time in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League a team succumbed to four consecutive losses.

Bengaluru Bulls kicked off PKL 11 with a loss against Telugu Titans, followed by a narrow loss against Gujarat Giants. They lost their third match 57-36 to UP Yoddhas and most recently a 14-point loss to holders Puneri Paltan. The string of losses left coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat fuming who was determined to change the wheels of the fortune in this game.

As for Dabang Delhi, while they had a better start to the PKL 11 than the Bulls, they didn’t have the campaign they hoped for either. They kicked off PKL 11 with a win over U Mumba, but soon succumbed to a narrow loss against UP Yoddhas. However, they did bounce back with a win over Pawan Sehrawat’s Telugu Titans.

Players to watch out for:

Pardeep Narwal (Bengaluru Bulls)

Pardeep Narwal’s return to the Bengaluru Bulls in PKL 11 has been one of the season’s highlights, rekindling memories of his early days in the Pro Kabaddi League. After spending three years with the UP Yoddhas, the “Dubki King” has come full circle, rejoining the team where he debuted. Although he had a slower start in his first game, despite his team’s struggles Pardeep quickly hit his stride, surpassing the historic 1700 raid points mark.

His performances have gained momentum, scoring nine points against the Gujarat Giants and a thrilling 16-point haul against his former team, UP Yoddhas. Across four matches, Pardeep has tallied 28 raid points, averaging 7 points per game with a solid 56% successful raid rate. Despite minimal defensive contributions, his focus on offence continues to underscore his title as one of PKL’s finest raiders.

Naveen Kumar (Dabang Delhi)

Naveen Kumar, the unstoppable “Naveen Express,” has made a huge mark in Pro Kabaddi League history with his electrifying raiding skills. Although he started PKL Season 11 on a quieter note, his record speaks volumes.

Hitting 800 raid points faster than anyone else in the league’s history, he’s proved time and again why he’s one of the best. His leadership brought Dabang Delhi a PKL title and a close runner-up finish, showing he’s not just a raider but a game-changer.

This season, his connection with Ashu Malik is already shaking things up, giving Delhi a big boost. With a solid 66.66% not-out rate and 6 raid points in his first couple of games, he’s been a steady force. But it was his third game where he came alive, scoring a fantastic 15 points and reminding everyone why he’s a top-tier raider.

With his current tally of 21 raid points over three games and a 51.21% raid success rate, it’s clear that the “Naveen Express” is just getting started in PKL 11. Fans better hold on—there’s plenty more action coming.
