PKL 11: Gujarat Giants full schedule for Pro Kabaddi League season 11

The two-time finalists lack a bit of experience in the defence.

Gujarat Giants who did a complete revamp of their squad will take on Bengaluru Bulls in their opening game of season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League. It is a game to watch out for as it is a battle between Pardeep Narwal and his former guru Ram Mehar Singh who is serving as the coach of the Gujarat.

Gujarat Giants strategy of not using FBM card for Fazel Atrachali at just 50 lakhs and not to go big for the likes of Mohammadreza Shadloui and Pawan Sehrawat in the auction despite having the biggest purse was baffling for many. Ram Mehar Singh would want to prove his critics wrong and a winning start against Bengaluru Bulls would be a perfect answer for the same.

Giants will be one of the two teams to play minimum number of games in the Hyderabad leg with six to be precise. The men in orange can utilise the time to fill the gaps in the team. The two-time finalists will finish the Hyderabad leg with a game against last year finalists Haryana Steelers before facing them again on the first day of the Noida leg.

The Giants will then take on three former champions in five days and they would want to get the results in their favour. They will end the Noida leg facing defending champions Puneri Paltan. Gujarat will begin the Pune leg much like they did in Hyderabad squaring up against season six champions Bengaluru Bulls. Giants will play eight games in Pune with the final league. against Delhi on the penultimate day.
