The Pink Panthers started their season in the best possible way with a 34-39 win over the Bengal Warriors, thanks to the heroics of skipper Arjun Deshwal and his partner Abhijeet Malik.

Jaipur Pink Panthers continued their winning momentum and pulled off a dominant 22-52 win over the Telugu Titans before facing a loss against the Haryana Steelers. On the other hand, Tamil Thalaivas have pretty much enjoyed a similar start to the season. They started with a win over the Telugu Titans. 

And then pulled off the biggest upset of the season by defeating the defending champions Puneri Paltan, but were handed their first defeat of the season by Patna Pirates in their last outing. They are currently placed third in the standings with 11 points in hand and a win will take them to the top.

Tamil Thalaivas – Sachin Tanwar

Sachin Tanwar was acquired by the Tamil Thalaoivas for a record fee in the last auction and he has lived up to all the hype and expectations so far. The former Patna Pirates man has started the season from where he left last season and is not showing any signs of slowing down. He has not let the price tag pressure affect him and has continued to deliver match-winning performances. Sachin has scored 24 points in the opening three games, including a super 10.
