PKL 11: Key battles to watch out for in match 50, Dabang Delhi vs Puneri Paltan
The PKL 11 fixture will feature some of the most talented players in the league.
Dabang Delhi K.C. and Puneri Paltan are set to clash in a high-octane 2024-25 Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 11) contest on 12 November 2024 at the Noida Indoor Stadium.
The winners of season 10 are leading the table heading into the fixture and looking to build on their strong start to the PKL 11. As for the former, a mixed bag of results has seen them win four and lose five out of nine matches.
Puneri Paltan has won three of its last five PKL 11 matches. However, in their previous PKL 11 fixture, they lost narrowly to Telugu Titans. In the upcoming fixture, the side will be looking to bounce back from the defeat and end Dabang Delhi’s two-match winning streak.

The PKL 11 match on Tuesday is hard to predict due to the similar level of both teams. There is plenty of quality on paper and the key players on both sides will be hugely influential towards the outcome of the game. With the fixture approaching, here is a look at three key battles that will be crucial in deciding the winner:
Yogesh vs Pankaj Mohite
Yogesh is a key player in defence for the Dabang Delhi. He has become popular for his advanced tackles and taking charge of the situation on the kabaddi floor. His task in the upcoming PKL 11 fixture against Puneri Paltan would be to silence Pankaj Mohite’s influence.
The raider scored nine points in the match against Telugu Titans, almost leading his team to another victory. He has scored 39 points this season, which is not a total he would be satisfied with. As both players prepare to make a positive impact on their respective sides, the ensuing battle will become entertaining to watch.
Vinay vs Mohit Goyat
Vinay is playing the role of the supporting raider well for Dabang Delhi in PKL 11. The absence of Naveen Kumar has caused a major impact but the raider is doing well to provide backup to Ashu Malik. He has 34 points in six matches and is showing signs of promise for the side.
With Aslam Inamdar ruled out for the rest of the PKL 11, the onus would be on the likes of Mohit Goyat to step up. As Pankaj Mohite prepares to take the mantle of the captain in Inamdar’s absence, Goyat must provide ample support and secure points for the side from his raids. Both raiders are crucial for their respective sides and their performance will be key.
Ashu Malik vs Gaurav Khatri
The biggest battle from the PKL 11 contest between Dabang Delhi and Puneri Paltan will see Pro Kabaddi League 11’s highest-scoring raider Ashu Malik square off against the highest-scoring defender Gaurav Khatri. Both players are having sensational seasons respectively and are putting up impressive numbers.
Ashu Malik is leading the raiding duties for the Dabang Delhi K.C. with the skipper Naveen Kumar missing from action due to an injury. He has accumulated 98 points in nine matches in PKL 11 and looks hungry for more. As for Gaurav Khatri, he leads the charts with 33 tackle points. With such huge stakes, the winner of this battle is certainly going to put his respective team in the driving seat.
