Aslam Inamdar suffered a knee injury in the match against Telugu Titans.
Defending champions Puneri Paltan suffered a major blow as their captain Aslam Inamdar ruled out of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 11) for the entire reason. Aslam who was given a day of rest against Gujarat Giants, was pulled up by the coach against Dabang Delhi after he felt discomfort in his knee.
And now the defending champions have taken to Instagram to announce the news of Aslam Inamdar being ruled out for the entire season. In Aslam’s absence, vice-captain Pankaj Mohite is set to lead the charge in PKL 11.

“Aslam Inamdar has been ruled out of Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 due to an unforeseen knee injury. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him return stronger to lead our lions soon!”, the statement from Puneri Paltan read.
Aslam Inamdar’s impact on Puneri Paltan
Aslam Inamdar, who led the team with remarkable composure to their maiden title in PKL 10, is celebrated for his tactical insight and ability to read situations with precision. His dual threat in both attack and defence made him the league MVP last season, and his leadership remained a key asset for Puneri Paltan’s title defence.
Known for his all-around skills, Aslam has amassed 449 raid points and 58 tackle points over his PKL career, reinforcing his value as an impactful player on both ends of the mat. This season, Aslam has played 7 matches, earning 38 points with an impressive 90.24% not-out rate.
While his raid success rate is 37.8% with 31 raid points, his tackling ability has also added stability, with 7 tackle points and a tackle success rate of 41%. However, with him being ruled out Puneri Paltan will have a major void to fill.
Puneri Paltan right now sits at the top of the PKL 11 points table with 30 points. They have won five matches, lost two, and played out one draw so far. Paltan will now take on Dabang Delhi in PKL 11 on November 12th at Noida Indoor Stadium as they look to overcome the massive setback.
