Jaipur Pink Panthers would like to continue their momentum in PKL 11.

In the highly anticipated clash of PKL 11, Telugu Titans and Jaipur Pink Panthers are set to battle it out, with both teams looking to establish their dominance early in the season. The Titans have had a mixed start to PKL 11, securing one win but facing defeat in their second match.

Their star raider, Pawan Sehrawat, has been in fine form, leading the Pro Kabaddi League season 11 raiders’ chart with 23 points from two matches. However, the Titans need more consistent support from the rest of the squad to strengthen their campaign.

On the other side, the Jaipur Pink Panthers, started strong with a victory in their opening game against Bengal Warriorz, where captain Arjun Deshwal showed why he is the MVP with an impressive 15 points. The Panthers are riding high on confidence and will look to maintain their momentum as they aim for another successful season.

As these two teams prepare to face each other, the individual player battles on the mat are bound to play a crucial role in determining the winner. Let’s dive into these exciting player battles that could swing the game in favour of either team.

Manjeet vs Ankush

Manjeet, one of Telugu Titans‘ recruits for PKL 11, is a raider with high expectations. Though he has yet to make a significant impact in the first two games, scoring just 1 point from 13 raids, Manjeet has the potential to support his captain, Pawan Sehrawat, and turn the tide for the Titans. However, his ability to step up against tough defences will be tested against Ankush.

Ankush is a rock-solid defender for the Jaipur Pink Panthers. Known for his consistency, Ankush has already earned a reputation as one of the best defenders since his debut in PKL Season 9. With 70 tackle points in Season 10, his strength lies in executing chain tackles and ankle holds.

In his opening game of PKL 11, Ankush has already recorded a tackle success rate of 33%. His battle with Manjeet will be crucial in deciding the raiding success of the Telugu Titans.

Arjun Deshwal vs Krishan Dhull

Arjun Deshwal, the captain and lead raider of Jaipur Pink Panthers, continues to be a force in PKL. With over 950 points in his career, Deshwal had an impressive start to PKL 11, scoring 15 points against Bengal Warriorz. His ability to control the pace of the game and consistently score points makes him one of the most dangerous raiders in the league.

Krishan Dhull, one of the most expensive recruits for the Titans, brings his defensive mastery to the fore. He was the best Indian defender in PKL Season 10, finishing with 78 tackle points, and is already off to a good start in Season 11 with 6 points and a 67% tackle success rate. Dhull’s ability to neutralize Deshwal could play a pivotal role in the outcome of the match.

Pawan Sehrawat vs Reza Mirbagheri

Pawan Sehrawat, often referred to as the “High-Flyer,” is Telugu Titans’ star raider and the most crucial player on the team. With 23 raid points from just two matches, Sehrawat is currently leading the raiders’ chart in PKL 11. Known for his athleticism, quick reflexes, and ability to score Super 10s, he will be the primary threat to Jaipur’s defence.

Reza Mirbagheri, the Iranian defender retained by Jaipur Pink Panthers, will be tasked with stopping Sehrawat. Though Reza had a quiet start to PKL 11, registering only 2 raid points and zero tackle points in his opening match, his experience and defensive prowess could come into play in this critical matchup.
