The second week of Pro Kabaddi League 11 (PKL 11) is up and running and table toppers Puneri Paltan are all set to take Fazel Atrachali’s Bengal Warriorz at the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad.

Defending champions Puneri Paltan are sitting at the top of the PKL 11 Points Table with three wins from four games. The Pune-based outfit kicked off the PKL campaign with two consecutive losses against Haryana Steelers and Patna Pirates.

Following this they succumbed to a narrow loss to Tamil Thalaivas. But the Aslam Inamdar-led outfit bounced back to the winning ways in PKL with a stellar 14-point win against Pardeep Narwal’s Bengaluru Bulls.

As for Bengal Warriorz they have had a mixed start to their PKL 11 campaign. Although they started the tournament with a loss against Jaipur Pink Panthers, they backed it with a win over UP Yoddhas. In their most recent game, Bengal were held to a 31-31 draw against U Mumba.

The second week of Pro Kabaddi League season 11 (PKL 11) will turn up a notch when Pardeep Narwal-led Bengaluru Bulls will look to change their fortunes as they take on Dabang Delhi.

Bengaluru Bulls came into PKL 11 with lots of hopes and confidence following the return of their prodigal son, the ‘Dubki’ king Pardeep Narwal. But what unfolded next was just mayhem. For the first time in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League a team succumbed to four consecutive losses.

Bengaluru Bulls kicked off PKL 11 with a loss against Telugu Titans, followed by a narrow loss against Gujarat Giants. They lost their third match 57-36 to UP Yoddhas and most recently a 14-point loss to holders Puneri Paltan. The string of losses left coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat fuming who was determined to change the wheels of the fortune in this game.

As for Dabang Delhi, while they had a better start to the PKL 11 than the Bulls, they didn’t have the campaign they hoped for either. They kicked off PKL 11 with a win over U Mumba but soon succumbed to a narrow loss against UP Yoddhas. However, they did bounce back with a win over Pawan Sehrawat’s Telugu Titans.
