On facing Bengaluru Bulls next in PKL 11
Dabang Delhi will now go on to face Pardeep Narwal’s Bengaluru Bulls on October 29. Bengaluru Bulls are currently sitting at the foot of the PKL 11 table with four consecutive losses.
“No team is easy or weak. They might win or lose but that does not mean we take any team lightly. We will come as prepared as we should be. We have planned for everyone and of course, Pardeep is a part of the plan,” said the coach.
“Bengaluru Bulls are a good team and they give they are all till the end. They have Pardeep Narwal, we have Naveen, it will be a good game,” added Ashu.
On Naveen Kumar’s injury
Naveen Kumar returned injured from a raid during the final 15 minutes and looked in real pain. However, much to the relief of the fans, the coach Joginder Narwal has given an update on Naveen and revealed that it is not as serious as it looks.
“It is nothing huge, just a little pulled muscle” said coach Joginder Narwal peaking to the media alongside Ashu Malik who delivered a stellar performance in the PKL 11 game despite succumbing to a narrow defeat at the hands of PKL 10 runners Haryana Steelers.
On Shadloui and the team’s performance
With captain Jaideep back in action, the Haryana Steelers quickly took control, racing to a strong first-half lead. Shivam Patare and Mohammadreza Shadloui led the charge, with Shadloui executing a remarkable three-point Super Raid, helping the Steelers finish the half at 24-13 in the PKL 11 game.
“Like I said earlier, give this team some time. Once the combination is set they will play very well. Now that is here, the team is playing very well. Whatever plans we make, I am happy my team tries to do the same on the field,” said Haryana Steelers coach Manpreet Singh.
“Shadloui is a great player. He is one of the best all-rounders. Of course, he is defensively strong, but I will not stop him from raiding if he wants. We do have Jaideep but it’s an added advantage,” he added.
On facing UP Yoddhas next in PKL 11
Although Dabang Delhi K.C., led by Ashu Malik, fought back in the second half with an ALL-OUT, the Steelers’ defence stayed resilient. Securing their second straight win, the Haryana Steelers continue to make an impressive mark in PKL 11. The Haryana team will now face UP Yoddhas on October 30th who sit at the 2nd position in the table.
“UP Yoddhas is a very good team, they are winning most of the matches. We will make a good plan and come prepared and give our best to win,” said Jaideep Dahiya.
