On almost making the comeback against Telugu Titans

Telugu Titans captain Pawan Sehrawat delivered an impressive 14-point performance, while Ajit Pawar’s High 5 added essential defensive power. The game nearly saw a stunning comeback from the Bengaluru Bulls, making it one of the standout moments in PKL 11.

“Despite the loss, it was great a match, in the last Surender made some mistakes, if he had done a tackle at the end, then the result would have been different,” said coach Randhir Singh reflecting on the loss.

“The young players were very good, especially Pankaj. He is very talented, I wanted to bring him earlier on. Win or loss in matches like this does not matter. It was a tough match,” he added.

“We were trying to rectify the mistakes we made in the first half. Had we played in the start, the way we played the second half, we would have won the match. Since Ajinkya was doing well and we needed Pankaj, I went off, the Raiders played well,” added captain Pardeep Narwal.

On Vijay Malik’s performance and impact

The second half showcased the Bulls’ determination to reverse their fortunes in PKL 11, with Ajinkya Pawar and Nitin Rawal closing the gap through successful raids and defensive moves. Rawal’s High 5 and a crucial ALL-OUT revived their hopes, while Ajinkya’s raiding brilliance continued to challenge the Titans. It was none other than Telugu Titans stalwart Vijay Malik who held the nerve for the team.

“One should not judge Vijay [ Malik] by the stats of the game, he runs the game. He has complete authority because he knows what to do as well as me or the coach,” said Pawan Sehrawat speaking on the same.

On facing Tamil Thalaivas next in PKL 11

Though the Bulls reduced the deficit, Sehrawat’s consistent performance ultimately led the Titans to a narrow, second consecutive PKL 11 victory over the Bulls, sealing a three-point win. The Telugu Titans will now go to face Tamil Thalaivas, who have already defeated them once in PKL 11 by a margin of 15 points (44-29).

“All the 12 teams in the competitions are very good. The team that will make the least number of mistakes will win. Like I said the match against Tamil Thalaivas won’t be easy but we will fight to win and it will be a good match to watch, ” the coach concluded.
