On Pardeep Narwal’s injury
PKL 11 fans saw an exceptional raiding showcase from Nitin Kumar and Maninder Singh, who scored 14 and 10 points, respectively, to secure the win. Maninder led the Warriorz to a 15-12 halftime advantage, with his eight-point effort that included a critical two-point raid eliminating Nitin Rawal and Pardeep Narwal.
“Pardeep has an injury that has been troubling him. It was better but it is back now although it’s nothing major that is why I had to take him out,” said Bengaluru Bulls coach Randhir Singh.
“I have a pulled muscle which has been troubling me, so the coach pulled me out so that it doesn’t get worse,” Pardeep Narwal added.
On Fazel Atrachali’s injury
The Bulls struggled to find momentum, with Akshit scoring four points and Ajinkya Pawar adding three. In the second half, Maninder completed his Super 10 with a crucial two-point raid that led to the first ALL OUT on the Bulls. However, captain Fazel Atrachali also revealed that he had incurred a small injury.
“Injury is a part of a kabaddi player’s life. They can’t play the sport without being injured. I got a minor niggle when Ashu [Mlaik] fell over me, but it is nothing major, ” shared the Bengal Warriorz captain.
On moving to the next leg in PKL 11
Nitin Kumar followed up with a momentum-shifting Super Raid, while Fazel Atrachali’s timely tackle on Akshit delivered another ALL-OUT. Despite the Bulls’ late efforts, the Bengal Warriorz closed out the match decisively, marking an impressive victory in PKL 11.
“This win gave us the momentum and motivation we needed, and we are looking to carry that forward in the next leg when we go,” concluded the Bengal Warriorz coach.
