Pardeep Narwal on his injury

Ashu delivered his 10th Super 10 of the season with 14 points, while Yogesh picked up a High 5. Despite spirited efforts from Bengaluru Bulls’ Nitin Rawal (7 points) and Pardeep Narwal (5 points), they couldn’t match Delhi’s dominance.

“I was not well. I had some stretched muscles and stuff, hence I needed some rest, even Ajinkya Pawar is suffering from the same, hence he could not perform well in today’s game,” revealed Bengaluru Bulls captain Pardeep Narwal.

Pardeep Narwal’s impact and performance

The match began with Ashu Malik setting the pace for Dabang Delhi, while Jai Bhagwan and Pardeep Narwal kept Bengaluru Bulls in contention.

“Pardeep is one of the best players in the league, we did have a separate plan for him. but he still had a super raid, that is how good he is, “said Dabang Delhi coach Joginder Narwal.

Midway through the first half, Nitin Rawal’s Super Tackle briefly boosted the Bulls, but Delhi’s defense, led by Yogesh and Sandeep, remained unyielding. At halftime, Delhi held a 5-point lead at 18-13. In the second half, Bengaluru Bulls closed the gap to four points with contributions from Nitin Rawal and Akshit.

On Naveen Kumar’s injury and return

However, Ashu Malik’s three-point Super Raid and exceptional all-around performance widened Delhi’s lead. The decisive moment came when Ashu Malik orchestrated an ALL OUT in the final minute, sealing a 10-point victory and propelling Dabang Delhi into the top five of the PKL 11 standings.

However, Delhi were still without captain Naveen Kumar who had been sidelined following an injury.

“Naveen is completely fine now, he wanted to play this match itself, he even practices with us, but I wanted to rest him for a little while more, so we will play him soon,” Dabang Delhi coach concluded.
