On facing Pawan Sehrawat-led Telugu Titans next in PKL 11

The match was a showcase of intense battles and strategic plays, with Mohammadreza Shadloui emerging as the hero for the Steelers, scoring seven points, including a High 5, to steer his team to victory in PKL 11. They will go on to face Telugu Titans next in PKL 11.

“Telugu Titans are an extremely strong team when Pawan Sehrawat is playing. I heard he might be injured but if he is playing then we will have to come up with a different plan. Pawan is like a one-man army, ” said Haryana Steelers coach Manpreet Singh.

On Vinay and other youngsters

The first half of the PKL 11 clash saw both teams adopting a cautious approach, relying heavily on Do-Or-Die raids. Vinay’s sensational Super Raid, which ousted both Amir Hossein Bastami and Nitesh Kumar, gave the Haryana Steelers an early edge.

“All the attention goes to the raiders who have huge price tags. My raiders Vinay, Vishal, and Shivam might not have huge price tags, but they are doing their best and are performing for the team consistently, so for me, that is the best thing and I am extremely happy about it.” said coach Manpreet Singh.

On Sachin’s absence

However, the Tamil Thalaivas fought back with an ALL OUT, led by Bastami’s brilliant tackle on Shivam Patare. At halftime, the Thalaivas held a slim 17-14 lead, thanks to their exceptional defense and the Steelers’ struggles during crucial raids in PKL 11. However, the team was without captain Sachin Tanwar.

“Sachin is not in a good condition, he is not performing well too, so I played the juniors. It won’t happen the next match, he will be back the next match and will play well too, ” said Tamil Thalaivas coach.

The second half of this PKL 11 thriller was a nail-biter, with momentum swinging between both sides. Key raids from Vinay and a decisive High 5 tackle by Shadloui on Narender Kandola tilted the match in favor of the Steelers. In the final moments, a composed two-point raid by Vinay and an ALL OUT sealed the victory, giving Manpreet Singh’s men a vital five points in PKL 11.
