On Ajit Chouhan’s performance in PKL 11

Ajit Chouhan’s Super 10, coupled with Manjeet’s nine points, proved crucial for the Season 2 champions, who narrowly overcame the brilliance of Pardeep Narwal, who also secured a Super 10 for the Bulls. Defenders Amirmohammad Zafardanesh and Sunil Kumar chipped in with four points each to seal the victory for U Mumba.

“Ajit is very good talent, he has been performing really well and helping the team win too. With more practice and experience he can become one of the best players of the tournament,” said U Mumba assistant coach.

The match kicked off with fireworks as Pardeep Narwal and Ajit Chouhan traded points early on. Both teams delivered blows in quick succession, with Ajit giving U Mumba the lead through a Do-Or-Die raid, only for Ajinkya Pawar to respond for the Bulls.

On facing Telugu Titan’s performance in PKL 11

A pivotal Super Tackle by Amirmohammad briefly shifted momentum, but Pardeep’s two-point raid inflicted an ALL OUT, giving Bengaluru Bulls a slim advantage. U Mumba retaliated to end the first half narrowly ahead at 21-20. U Mumba will go on to face Telugu Titans next in PKL 11.

“Although we won today, we still have corrections to make, some changes to look at before we play our next match, ” says captain Sunil Kumar.

“We still have one day, so we will go plan against Telugu Titans, we will come with full preparation and try to win the game, ” he concluded.

On Pardeep Narwal’s injury

The second half saw intense defensive battles, as U Mumba pulled ahead multiple times only for the Bulls to claw back. Ajit’s Super 10 and a clutch Super Raid by Manjeet gave Mumba a five-point cushion, but Bengaluru’s Sunny and Nitin Rawal, with a Super Tackle and High Five respectively, kept the game alive.

In the final moments, a decisive Super Tackle by Parvesh Bhainswal secured U Mumba’s dramatic victory, taking them back to second place in the PKL 11 standings.

“I had some injury, but now I am completely fit, so now I will have to concentrate on the matches, ” said Pardeep Narwal.
