Bengaluru Bulls have lost nine of their last ten matches in PKL 11.

The Patna Pirates delivered a dominant performance in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 11), defeating the Bengaluru Bulls 54-31 at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Tuesday.

Speaking to the media, Patna Pirates captain Shubham Shinde and coach, followed by Bengaluru Bulls captain Pardeep Narwal and Nitin Rawal shared their thoughts on the PKL 11 match.

On Pardeep Narwal’s performance in PKL 11

The young raiding duo of Devank Dalal and Ayan Lohchab stole the show, with Devank climbing to the top of the raiders’ leaderboard with 131 points. This commanding win also pushed the Pirates to 3rd place in the PKL 11 standings.

The match began with the Bengaluru Bulls’ defense, led by Saurabh Nandal and Sunny Sehrawat, executing four Super Tackles to keep Patna’s raiders in check early on. However, what was surprising was that Pardeep Narwal could only claim a single point.

“We are trying really hard, but we cant figure out what is going wrong, i feel responsible as if something is going wrong with me, so we have to see what is wrong and come back better, ” said Pardeep Narwal.

“Pardeep is one of the biggest players in the pro kabaddi league and he has given us three trophies. But a player cannot always play the same. But Pardeep is a star and he will always be the star, ” Patna coach Redu had said on a similar context.

On facing UP Yoddhas next in PKL 11

However, Devank and Ayan soon found their rhythm, helping Patna Pirates inflict the first ALL OUT of the match. Deepak’s crucial tackle on Nandal was the turning point, giving the three-time PKL 11 champions momentum to lead 20-13 at halftime.

The Pirates dominated the second half, inflicting another ALL OUT within three minutes. Sandeep joined the scoring spree, while Devank and Ayan continued their raid successes. Devank’s seventh Super 10 in PKL 11 and a third ALL OUT sealed Bengaluru’s fate. Ayan also completed a Super 10, taking the Pirates past 50 points. Patna Pirates will now go on to face UP Yoddhas next in PKL 11 on Sunday, November 24.

“No team is bad, they are all doing very well, so we plan according to the team we are facing, we plan our offence and defence and then come to play,” said Patna’s coach.
