On the other hand, Gujarat Giants have 35 points after 20 games, with five wins, thirteen losses, and two ties. In their last game, they were hammered 23-59 by the UP Yoddhas, a result which would surely not have pleased their opponents for tomorrow. The two-time runners-up just have pride at stake and can virtually only finish as high as the tenth spot.

Not many people would have predicted Devank Dalal to be sitting at the top of the list of most raid points, at the start of the season. However, he has been in a league of his own, with 270 raid points, way ahead of the second-placed Ashu Malik. He has already secured seventeen Super 10s in 21 matches, with most of the outings ranging close to fifteen points, if not more.

Tall, quick, and powerful- Devank has all the makings of an ideal raider. Such has been his form that he managed to score 12 points against the U Mumba, despite the defence doing a fantastic job to stave him off.

Guman Singh (Gujarat Giants)

Gujarat Giants‘ raiding department have had an abysmal season, with their total team raid points only higher than the Bengaluru Bulls. However, Guman Singh has been a silver lining for them, as he has scored 148 raid points in 20 matches, with six super 10s, and is currently placed joint sixth in the list of most raid points.

The effort is even more commendable since the likes of Parteek and Rakesh haven’t been able to replicate their performances from the previous seasons. Guman’s recent form is decent too, as he has scored 35 raid points in the last four matches.
