Pardeep Narwal leads the chart of players with the most raid points in the history of PKL.

Pardeep Narwal’s incredible milestone of crossing 1,800 raid points lit up the night for Bengaluru Bulls in their Pro Kabaddi 2024 (PKL 11) clash against UP Yoddhas as their campaign came to a close.

Bulls’ captain Pardeep Narwal and Nitin Rawal and coach addressed the media after their loss, while UP’s Mahender and coach shared their views on the team’s win in PKL 11.

Even though the Bulls eventually lost 30-44, Pardeep’s historic achievement reminded fans why he’s a legend of the game. The match started on a high note for the Bulls, who came out firing in the first half.

On Pardeep Narwal and his 1800 raid points in PKL

“I am very happy about Pardeep Narwal, it’s great that I brought him and he did his 1800 points under me, but he never credited me. I found him and brought him to this stage when he was 17 and a half, but he never thanked me for it,” added the coach.

Sushil was in top form, leading the raids and helping the Bulls inflict an early ALL OUT to take an 11-3 lead. Pardeep’s bonus raid to reach his record added to the excitement, and by halftime, the Bengaluru Bulls clung to a narrow 19-18 lead. It felt like the momentum was on their side in what was shaping up to be another thrilling PKL 11 encounter.

On Pardeep Narwal’s journey in PKL 11

“It might take a few years for someone to break in two to three years, but it is a huge milestone. Scoring 369 points in a season is not easy but Pardeep did it. All I want to say to him is that no matter what he believes, he still has ‘kabaddi’ in him and he should play for the country and in the PKL as well, ” concluded the coach.

However, the second half turned the tide against them. UP Yoddhas tightened their defence and executed key raids, gradually pulling away. Despite Pardeep and Sushil’s best efforts to keep the Bulls in the game, the Yoddhas’ all-round performance proved too much. While the result wasn’t in their favour, Pardeep’s milestone remains a proud moment for the Bulls this season.

“All I wanna say is coach brought me here in the second season and it is the 11th season now, I am still with him if he is here I am here too and as for 1800 points I am very happy to have done so,” said Pardeep Narwal.
