5. Mayur Kadam (Bengal Warriorz)
Although Mayur Kadam hasn’t had a consistent season overall, his performance during Week 7 was noteworthy. Bengal Warriorz‘s left-cover defender managed to put up a High Five in one match and secured three points in another, accumulating a total of eight points across two games in PKL 11. His efforts were crucial in Bengal’s victory over a stronger Haryana Steelers side.
4. Rahul Sethpal (Haryana Steelers)
Rahul Sethpal has been a reliable performer for Haryana Steelers this season, having earned 49 points in 16 matches. In Week 7, he maintained his steady form, collecting eight points across two games in PKL 11. Despite the Steelers losing one of these matches, they remain at the top of the points table, thanks to consistent contributions from players like Sethpal.
3. Reza Mirbagheri (Jaipur Pink Panthers)
Iranian defender Reza Mirbagheri has been a vital asset for the Jaipur Pink Panthers, especially when other key defenders like Ankush struggled. During Week 7, Reza delivered a solid performance, scoring 10 points in two matches in PKL 11. His resilience in defence has been pivotal in keeping Jaipur competitive this season.
2. Nitin Rawal (Bengaluru Bulls)
Even though the Bengaluru Bulls have struggled this season, Nitin Rawal has stood out as their defensive stalwart. He currently leads the league in tackle points, with 59 points in 16 matches in PKL 11. In Week 7, Nitin continued his exceptional run, earning 10 points across two matches. His consistency makes him a key player despite the Bulls’ challenging campaign.
1. Sombir (U Mumba)
Sombir was the star defender of Week 7, claiming the highest number of tackle points during this period. He racked up 12 points in two matches in PKL 11, including a stellar seven-point performance against Jaipur Pink Panthers. His dominance in this match limited Jaipur’s captain Arjun Deshwal to just one point, leading to a hard-fought draw for U Mumba.
