PKL 11: UP Yoddhas complete squad

The side from north India has almost changed their entire squad.
UP Yoddhas has made massive changes to their squad for season 11 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 11). It started before the auctions when they let go of two superstars of the game Pardeep Narwal and Nitesh Kumar. In fact, the strategy to move towards youngsters started in the final stages of season 10, when coach Jasveer Singh rested them and gave opportunities to youngsters.
The likes of Gagan Gowda, Hitesh, and Shivam Chaudhary came out with flying colors and hence were retained as New Young players. They were expected to have big purchases in the Auction and they struck with the recruitment of Bharat Hooda for 1.3cr. The 23-year-old will join hands with Surender Gill to be the primary force in raiding.
On the second day of the auction, they invested heavily in Bhavani Rajput for 45 lakhs. The right raider played the support role to perfection with Jaipur Pink Panthers last year. If he can repeat the feat with Bharat and Surender, then Yoddhas will be a force to reckon with. All three raiders are tall ones and one can expect them to trouble the opposition with running hand touches.
The Yoddhas have always relied on defense and season 11 will be no different. Left-corner defender Sumit will be joined by Sahul Kumar in the right corner. The Pink Panthers’ import is an experienced defender and a well-planned replacement for Nitesh. The team from the north also made a steal by buying Mahender Singh for 21.40 lakhs. Nicknamed The Bulldozer, Mahender and Ashu will be planning to dash opposition raiders and push their team to success.
UP Yoddhas Squad for PKL 11:
Raiders: Surender Gill, Gagana Gowda, Shivam Chaudhary, Keshav Kumar, Heidarali Ekrami, Bhavani Rajput, Akshay R Suryawanshi, Vishal Choudhary, Satish Kannan
Defenders: Sumit, Ashu Singh, Gangaram, Jayesh Mahajan, Hitesh, Sachin, Sahul Kumar, Mohammadreza Kaboudrahangi, Mahender Singh, Aashish Kumar
