PKL 12 Auction: Bengal Warrioz use FBM to keep star defender Nitesh Kumar

Nitesh Kumar stays with Bengal Warriorz for one more season.
Bengal Warriorz have shown their faith in defender Nitesh Kumar by exercising their FBM card on the 27-year-old for INR 20.25 lakhs at the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) auction. He had a decent outing with the Bengal-based franchise in the previous edition of the Pro Kabaddi League, and they have decided to continue with their name for one more season.
Bengal Warriorz had to choose between using the FBM card for one season or two, but they were inclined to bring Nitesh back into their squad for only one season. Nitesh Kumar will officially don the blue jersey once again in the 12th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.
Seven players were re-signed by the previous season’s franchise using the FBM card. Ashu Malik and Deepak Singh return to Dabang Delhi and Patna Pirates, respectively, for two seasons each. Meanwhile, Vijay Malik, Ankit, Nitesh Kumar, Mahender Singh, and Rinku will join their PKL Season 11 franchises for the upcoming season.
