PKL 12: Bengaluru Bulls full squad list ft. Akash Shinde

Bengaluru Bulls will be without coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat for the first time.

Bengaluru Bulls have somewhat rectified the mistakes they made last season in the two-day PKL 12 auction. The Bulls tried to build a balanced team, and they succeeded to some extent. However, they might still be short of an experienced raider going into the Pro Kabaddi League season 12 (PKL 12).

Bengaluru Bulls released their longest-serving coach, Randhir Singh Sehrawat, ahead of the upcoming season. BC Ramesh is the newly appointed coach of the Bulls and one of the brains behind the newly formed team.

The Arjuna Awardee has been a part of three PKL champion sides. In season 6, he was the assistant coach of Bengaluru Bulls when they lifted their first trophy. Whereas, he took Bengal Warriorz and Puneri Paltan to their only PKL titles.

Defense will be the strength of Bengaluru Bulls in season 12. In the last season, they struggled immensely at both attack and defence, which led to their disastrous downfall. However, they have taken care of their defence pretty well this time.

After retaining Lucky Kumar, they added big names like Yogesh Dahiya, Ankush Rathee, and Sanjay Dhull to their team, making them one of the strongest sides in defence.

On the other hand, when we look at the raiders, that is where they might struggle. They did not retain any big names in the raiding department before the auction. In the auction, they managed to acquire only Akash Shinde as a well-known raider who was not in good form even in the last season.

Apart from them, they have acquired some young raiders and all-rounders whom they will be keen to train and find a combination that can lead them to victory. On that note, let’s look at the full squad of Bengaluru Bulls for PKL 12.

Raiders: Akash Shinde, Mahipal, Shubham Bitake, Manjeet, Pankaj, Ganesha B. Hanamantagol, Pirati Srisivatejesh, Aashish Malik.

Defenders: Yogesh Dahiya, Sanjay Dhull, Ankush Rathee, Satyappa Matti, Manish, Shubham Rahate, Lucky Kumar, Deepak S.

All Rounders: Dheeraj, Alireza Mirzaeian, Ahmadreza Asgari, Amit Singh Thakur, Sahil Suhas Rane, Sachin, Chandranaik M.

It will be interesting to see how BC Ramesh produces a great player from the players he has picked in the auction.
