Bengaluru Bulls will be without the coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat for the first time.

Bengaluru Bulls had their worst season in the Pro Kabaddi League last year as they finished last in the points table. Despite splurging on marquee raiders during the PKL 11 auction, the Bengaluru Bulls were let down by their biggest names.

Neither their costliest signing, Ajinkya Pawar, nor Pro Kabaddi’s all-time top raider, Pardeep Narwal, managed to deliver when it mattered. Both endured forgettable campaigns, playing a major role in the team’s disappointing downfall.

Bengaluru Bulls wrapped up their season at the very bottom of the standings, managing just two victories from 22 matches. They suffered 19 defeats, while one game ended in a draw.

As a result, they have decided to do a complete revamp ahead of the PKL 12. The overhaul started with letting go of Randhir Singh Sehrawat as their coach after 11 seasons since the inaugural edition.

The season six champions have appointed BC Ramesh as their head coach for the season. The hometown hero was the Assistant coach when the Bulls lifted the title in 2018.

He has been the most successful coach in PKL history, winning two more in the last five seasons. After his appointment, the head coach emphasised building the team using youngsters and making them stars.

List of players released by Bengaluru Bulls

Pardeep Narwal, Saurabh Nandal, Ajinkya Pawar, Jai Bhagwan, Akshit, Jatin, Sunny, Sushil, Ponparthiban Subramainan, Hasun Thongkruea, Rohit Kumar, Aditya Powar, Arulnanthababu, Naveen, Nitin Rawal, Parteek

The retention list is a reflection of the same, as they have retained and signed players in the New Young Players category. A couple of surprise releases were Nitin Rawal and Saurabh Nandal.

The right corner was held by Saurabh for five seasons, and it would be weird for the Bulls’ fans not to see him. Nitin found a new lease of life at the left corner as he featured in the top-5 defenders of the season with 74 points. He could be one of the choices for the FBM card.
