PKL 12: What went wrong for Bengaluru Bulls against UP Yoddhas? Coach BC Ramesh reveals

UP Yoddhas registered their fourth win in PKL 12 by defeating Bengaluru Bulls.
UP Yoddhas secured their fourth victory in match 49 of Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) by defeating Bengaluru Bulls. It was an entertaining contest filled with end-to-end action. Both sides gave it their all and produced one of the most magical nights in the competition so far.
UP Yoddhas were in the lead for the majority of the game until Alireza Mirzaian scored a two-point raid in the last minute and helped Bengaluru Bulls get on par with the Yoddhas.
The match then went into the all-important tie-breaker, where UP Yoddhas emerged victorious courtesy of Sumit Sangwan’s tackle on Ahmad Reza Asgari. After the game, representatives from both teams addressed the media.

What went wrong?
Bengaluru Bulls head coach BC Ramesh spoke about what went wrong for his side in this game and said, “There were a few mistakes in defence as well, and after taking an eight-point lead, we were not able to save it. Our defenders made too many mistakes, allowing Bhavani Rajput to score points repeatedly.”
“Their team’s morale was low, but after taking those points, they gained some confidence and took the lead. In the final stages, we played according to our plan and made substitutions based on the situation. Ali Reza played well. Because of that, the match was tied, and then we were not lucky in the end,” he added.
Skipper Yogesh Dahiya also spoke about the same and said, “See, the strategy was that we would take the fifth raid and play on the golden raid, but that was a little mistake on our part, and on that last raid, so we made a mistake with the bonus.”

“Mistakes happen, and today, the situation was such that the match could have gone anywhere. This kind of victory is possible only when you have faith in yourself and your teammates. We have to face all the tough situations, but it was great to win in the end.”
