PKL 12: Best all-rounder of each team in Pro Kabaddi 2025

All teams except the UP Yoddhas have roped in one or more quality all-rounders.

The Pro Kabaddi League 12 (PKL 12) is now just a few weeks away. After a tremendous last season and an even more brilliant PKL 12 auction, the hype for the upcoming season is unparalleled. The upcoming season will commence on Friday, August 29, 2025.

All the teams have put together a stellar squad, and the competition is going to be as tough as it can be. Most of the teams were satisfied with the teams they created during the auction, as they were able to find the right balance for their franchises.

The specialist raiders and the defenders make up the foundation of the team. However, it is all-rounders who can provide the crucial edge needed in the squad. In PKL 12, all the teams except the UP Yoddhas have recruited one or more all-rounders into their squads.

On that note, let’s take a look at the best all-rounder of each team in PKL 12.

Bengal Warriorz – Shivansh Thakur

Bengal Warriorz have shown faith in the specialists and have recruited specialist raiders and defenders. However, they have included two young all-rounders in their squad, of whom Shivansh Thakur is going to be a crucial asset for them.

Thakur previously represented U Mumba in seasons 9 and 10, and has 3 raid and 12 tackle points, including a High 5. Among other specialists, it will be a bonus if Thakur gets going in the upcoming season.

Bengaluru Bulls – Jitender Yadav

Bengaluru Bulls have added eight all-rounders to their team for PKL 12, including two Iranian all-rounders, who can become the next big things from Iran. However, among them and other young Indian all-rounders, Jitender Yadav stands out with his solid performance in the previous season.

Yadav represented the Gujarat Giants in the previous season and was their best defender. However, he didn’t get a lot of opportunities to showcase his raiding skills.

Yadav scored 56 tackle points in 19 matches, including 5 High 5s. PKL 11 was a breakthrough season for him, and the Bulls will expect another good performance by the all-rounder.

Dabang Delhi – Naveen

Dabang Delhi have put together a stellar squad for the upcoming season. Despite losing a good pack of their squad in the auction, Delhi created an even stronger team. Along with brilliant raiding and defending departments, they have brought in four crucial all-rounders.

Although they have a couple of experienced all-rounders, with the current form, Naveen will be their best bet. He was on the defending champion, Haryana Steelers’ side, in the previous season. The all-rounder scored 22 raid points and 18 tackle points in season 11, which was also his debut season.

Gujarat Giants – Mohammadreza Shadloui

Gujarat Giants added a few crucial players to their squad in the PKL 12 auction. One of them, and the most important, is the Showstopper, Mohammadreza Shadloui. Shadloui has been part of the championship-winning sides for consecutive seasons, and he is now a part of the Giants franchise.

Shadloui’s stats speak for themselves, and he has improved tremendously in recent times. In Season 11, he showed spectacular raiding skills alongside his powerful and unorthodox defence. He scored 57 raid and 82 tackle points, including 5 High 5s. Will he be able to win the third PKL title in a row?

Haryana Steelers – Ashish Narwal

Haryana Steelers have roped in a couple of all-rounders, Ashish Narwal and Sahil Narwal. Ashish Narwal is going to be a trump card for the Steelers. With Shadloui leaving the franchise, Narwal has massive shoes to fill. Narwal has experience and is also in good form.

In PKL 11, Narwal scored 35 raid points and 17 tackle points, and was an important contributor to Dabang Delhi. He made his debut in Season 7 and has been playing quite well since then, with over 200 raid points, including 4 Super 10s and 81 tackle points.

Jaipur Pink Panthers – Nitin Rawal

Jaipur Pink Panthers have grouped a bunch of youngsters in their squad for season 12. They have released some massive names from the previous season. In the PKL 12 auction, they roped in a couple of crucial players, and the most valuable might be the only all-rounder they bought, who is Nitin Rawal.

Nitin Rawal was the best player for the Bengaluru Bulls in PKL 11. Going into the next season, Rawal will be key for the Pink Panthers’ success. In his 6-season-long PKL career, he has scored 144 raid points and 167 tackle points, including 8 High 5s.

Patna Pirates – Ankit Jaglan

Ankit Jaglan led Patna Pirates to the runners-up position in the previous season. The franchise got him back through the FBM card, and his all-round skills will once again have a massive effect, as he is the only all-rounder on the team.

Jaglan’s skills come more in his defence than his attack. He hasn’t got a raid point yet, but has been tremendous in defence. In 48 matches, Jaglan has scored 145 tackle points, including 9 High 5s.

Puneri Paltan – Aslam Inamdar

Puneri Paltan were extremely unlucky to lose Aslam Inamdar in PKL 11 due to an early injury. However, in PKL 12, he is fit and will be featuring for the Paltan. Inamdar is a magnificent all-rounder and will make a huge impact in the upcoming season.

Aslam Inamdar has an impressive record and has nearly 500 raid points to his name, including 12 Super 10s. Moreover, he also has 65 tackle points, including a High 5. With his return, the PKL 10 champions will attack with more vigour this season and might have a chance to lift the trophy once again.

Tamil Thalaivas – Pawan Sehrawat

Tamil Thalaivas have built a fantastic squad for Season 12. Their raiding and defending department looks intact, and with the inclusion of Sehrawat, they have found their second all-rounder besides Moein Shafaghi.

Pawan Sehrawat is one of the most experienced players in the upcoming season and also one of the best in the business.

Sehrawat has 1318 raid points, including 70 Super 10s and 70 tackle points, including 2 High 5s. He is going to play a vital role for the Thalaivas in PKL 12, and his impact will surely decide the outcome of the Thalaivas.

U Mumba – Amirmohammad Zafardanesh

U Mumba are one of the most balanced teams of the season. They have retained some all-rounders and also added a few more to the squad in the auction. Mumba’s all-round department looks strong, and Amirmohammad Zafardanesh is going to be their key all-rounder.

The young Iranian all-rounder has over 200 raid points, including 6 Super 10s, and 30 tackle points. He did not have a great PKL 11, but the management would be hoping for a better season this time.

Telugu Titans – Vijay Malik

Vijay Malik will have a lot of eyes on him in PKL 12. It hasn’t been announced yet, but Malik is probably going to be Telugu Titans‘ captain for the upcoming season.

He captained the side in the absence of Pawan Sehrawat in the previous season and led them splendidly. Malik’s leading capabilities, along with his raiding and defensive prowess, make him one of the best all-rounders of PKL 12.

Malik scored 172 raid points, including 7 Super 10s and 11 tackle points. Whereas in his overall PKL career, Malik scored 581 raid points, including 18 Super 10s and 92 tackle points, including 92 tackle points, making him the best all-rounder in the squad.
