PKL 12: Top five best moments from Day 10 matches

Puneri Paltan remains in first place at the end of Day 10 of PKL 12.
Day 10 of Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) delivered some of the best performances and thrilling moments of the season so far.
The day kicked off with a clash between the Bengal Warriorz and Telugu Titans, where the home team Titans dominated the match and secured back-to-back victories. Vijay Malik and Bharat Hooda were the stars of the game, with both players scoring impressive Super 10s to lead their team to an impressive win.
The second match of the day was a nail-biter, swinging like a pendulum; one moment, Jaipur was ahead, the next, Delhi was in the lead. With nine seconds left, Jaipur led by one, and Delhi had only three defenders on the mat.
Nitin Dhankar went in for the game-sealing raid but failed to cross the baulk line, conceding a super tackle. Delhi snatched another dramatic win, an exact repeat of their previous nail-biting finish.
The day had it all, from extraordinary performances that went in vain to last-minute drama and a thrilling finish. On that note, let’s take a look at the top five moments from Day 10 of PKL 12:
5. Devank Dalal’s Super 10
Devank Dalal was a lone warrior for the Bengal Warriorz today. While Nitesh and Ashish offered defensive support with 6 and 5 tackle points, he received little help in the raiding department.
Devank scored his third consecutive Super 10 of the season, finishing with 13 raid points, out of which 8 were touch points and 5 were bonus points, but his efforts weren’t enough to stop the Telugu Titans from dominating the match.
Despite his best attempts to spark a comeback, the lack of support from his fellow raiders left the Warriorz struggling.
4. The duo of Vijay and Bharat
Both raiders of the Telugu Titans were in top form today, with each scoring a Super 10. Vijay finished with 11 points, while Bharat scored 12, combining for a total of 23 raid points.
They were well-supported by a solid defensive effort from the Titans, particularly from Ankit Jaglan, who scored a High 5 and provided crucial support to the raiders. Vijay and Bharat’s dominance guided the Titans to back-to-back victories on their home ground.
3. Nitin Dhankar’s Super 10
Nitin has been thriving with the Jaipur Pink Panthers, and his form speaks for itself. So far, he has registered Super 10s in all three of his matches, establishing himself as their lead raider. Today was no different, as he delivered another good performance, scoring 13 raid points, while expertly targeting the Dabang Delhi defense with strategic raids.
However, in his final raid, when all he needed to do was cross the baulk line to legitimize the attempt, he fumbled under pressure and failed to do so, resulting in a super tackle. That costly mistake resulted in a heartbreaking one-point loss for the Panthers. The team will be hoping Nitin avoids such errors in future games as they look to bounce back.
2. Ashu Malik’s Super 10
Agent Ashu was unstoppable against the Panthers’ defense, ensuring Dabang Delhi stayed in the game whenever Jaipur took the lead.
He recorded his third Super 10 of the season and delivered his best performance yet, scoring an incredible 20 raid points, out of which 11 were touch points, and he snatched 9 bonus points from under the Panthers’ defense.
Despite receiving no raiding support from his teammates, Ashu single-handedly dismantled the opposition and guided Dabang Delhi to yet another victory. With three wins in three matches, Delhi remains unbeaten and has firmly established itself as one of the top contenders for the title.
1. The Last Minute Drama
The final minute of the second match had everything: momentum shifts, drama, and a nail-biting finish. With one minute remaining and Delhi leading by a single point, Nitin Dhankar went in to raid for Jaipur Pink Panthers and successfully leveled the score.
Next, Ashu raided for Dabang Delhi but made a costly mistake, offering his ankle to Jaipur’s left corner. Suddenly, the Panthers were ahead by one point with just 30 seconds left.
Nitin returned for another raid and instantly picked up a point, extending Jaipur’s lead to two. In Delhi’s next raid, Nitin Rawal intentionally gifted them a point to prevent a potential multi-point raid. With seconds left, Nitin Dhankar was sent again to seal the win.
Delhi had three defenders on the mat, guarding the baulk line. Nitin ran down the clock, then attempted to cross the baulk line, but slipped slightly and retreated. The referee ruled that he had not fully crossed the line, awarding Delhi a crucial super tackle. This single mistake cost the Panthers the match.
