Bengal Warriorz lost to hosts Telugu Titans with a 34-44 margin in Match 19 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) at the Vishwanadh Sports Club in Vizag on Sunday, September 7.
All-rounder Bharat scored 12 points (11 raid points and 1 tackle point), while skipper Vijay Malik contributed 11 points to the team’s tally. He bagged seven touch points, three bonus points, and a tackle point against the Warriorz.
Bengal Warriorz skipper Devank Dalal‘s 13 raid points went in vain as they lost the match by 10 points. With the loss, they have slipped to the eighth position in the standings with two points and a score difference of -9 from three encounters, having won one and lost two.
Devank Dalal becomes fastest player to achieve 50 raid points in a single season
With a Super 10 on Sunday against the Telugu Titans, Devank Dalal has created history by becoming the fastest player in PKL history to get 50 raid points in a single season.
The young Indian raider achieved the feat in three matches, surpassing Siddharth Desai, who had registered 50 raid points in four games in PKL 2019 with the Telugu Titans.
Anup Kumar and Ajay Thakur are next in the list, who took five matches each to surpass the 50 raid points mark in a single PKL season.
Devank Dalal’s performance in PKL 2025
Devank has 51 points in three matches with the Bengal Warriorz in the ongoing edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. He has three Super 10s and one Super Raid to his name from 69 raids this season.
Devank bagged 21 points (15 touch points and 6 bonus points) in Bengal Warriorz’s season opener against the Haryana Steelers. He earned 17 points, including 11 touch points and six bonus points, in his second outing against PKL Season 10 champions Puneri Paltan.
The young raider continued his tremendous form with 13 raid points against the Telugu Titans, which included 8 touch points and 5 bonus points. Bengal will take on Dabang Delhi in their upcoming PKL 12 encounter on Tuesday, September 9.
