Gameplan against Mohammadreza Shadloui
Bengaluru Bulls head coach BC Ramesh opened up about his side’s game plan to neutralise Mohammadreza Shadloui and said, “Shadloui is a good all-rounder player and our players made a strategy for him. Our captain, vice-captain, and all of them played very well together.”
“Shadloui was unsuccessful, and it benefited us. Their right corner, Lucky and raider Rakesh, played well. We made two to three super tackles that were more beneficial for our team, and then Akash Shinde turned the match by taking points at the right time and balancing the team. I liked it,” he added.

His own performance
Akash Shinde spoke about his own performance and said, “The most important thing is to show trust in your player, and today, after many matches, Coach Sahab gave me an opportunity. He trusted me, and even before the match started, he told me to play this match responsibly. He told me the more you stay inside, the more advantage it is for our team, and we played on the same strategy, and it worked.”
Gujarat Giants
Pressure on Mohammadreza Shadloui
Gujarat Giants assistant coach Varinder Singh was asked if there was captaincy pressure on Mohammadreza Shadloui. “Look, there is no pressure because he has not become captain for the first time. He has been a captain before and has performed well.”
“I think he is not under pressure, but he is having trouble making any decision, and he is definitely facing problems in controlling himself somewhere. It may be that he himself is not in form. So because of this, he is also making some mistakes,” he added.
Thoughts ahead of the next game
Varinder also spoke about the Telugu Titans ahead of their next game and said, “Telugu Titans also have a good squad with a good raiding line, and their defense is also good. We have to prepare accordingly, and time is also limited. The match is tomorrow only. So we will come prepared, and the team will play well.”
