PKL 12: Haryana Steelers vs Tamil Thalaivas prediction, possible starting 7, head-to-head & free live stream

Haryana Steelers will look to continue their winning streak in PKL 12 against Tamil Thalaivas.

Two quality sides will face each other in match 44 of Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12). Tamil Thalaivas will square off against the defending champions, Haryana Steelers. Thalaivas have missed Pawan Sehrawat‘s experience in their previous clash against Telugu Titans.

The Steelers have recovered well after the opening match shock against the Bengal Warriorz. Despite Naveen Kumar’s injury, the Steelers have played brilliantly.

Vinay and Shivam Patare led the charge in Haryana’s victory so far. The defence has also come into form in the match against Puneri Paltan and will now aim to contain Arjun Deshwal.

Haryana Steelers vs Tamil Thalaivas squads:

Haryana Steelers:

Haryana Steelers vs Tamil Thalaivas Head-to-Head

  • Matches played: 13
  • Haryana Steelers: 8
  • Tamil Thalaivas: 2
  • Tie: 3

These two teams have played three tied games, and ironically, all three were the first three contests between these two sides.

Players to watch out for

Haryana Steelers – Jaideep Dahiya

Haryana Steelers skipper Jaideep Dahiya leads from the front, and he showed it off against Patna Pirates. The right cover ensured that Ayan Lohchab, Maninder Singh, and Milan Dahiya didn’t have a field day as his High-5 ensured them a win.

He will again be crucial in the game against Thalaivas. It will be interesting to see how Thalaivas could respond if their new skipper has an off day.

Tamil Thalaivas – Nitesh Kumar

Tamil Thalaivas let go of their long-time corner defender Sahil Gulia after Nitesh Kumar impressed everyone last season. While he has contributed in bits and pieces, he will have to play a big role to tackle the defending champions.

The Steelers have been reinforced with the duo of Shivam Patare and Vinay. Nitesh is expected to keep both these players silent to get those crucial two points.

Possible starting 7

Haryana Steelers –  Mayank Saini, Vinay, Shivam Patare, Rahul Sethpal, Rahul Ahri, Neeraj, Jaideep Dahiya.

Tamil Thalaivas – Arjun Deshwal, Narender Kandola, Sagar Rathee, Aashish, Nitesh Kumar, Himanshu, Ronak.

Match Prediction

The Steelers have the slight edge over the young defensive unit of the Thalaivas. The defending champions should be wary of Arjun Deshwal, who could take the game away. But Haryana are the favourite in this clash.
