PKL 12: Manpreet Singh makes big revelation about Jaideep Dahiya after Haryana Steelers' win

Haryana Steelers beat U Mumba in the tie-breaker with a score of 7-6.
Defending champions Haryana Steelers secured their first win of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) following a high-voltage clash against U Mumba.
It was a tight and low-scoring game where both sides maintained their defensive discipline, and as a result, the game went into the tie-breaker. The Steelers held their nerves and emerged victorious courtesy of a superstar performance from Naveen Kumar.
After the match, both teams’ head coaches and captains addressed the media.
U Mumba
Thoughts on the game
U Mumba‘s captain Sunil Kumar shared his thoughts on the game and said, “Haryana is also a good team. All three raiders they have are amazing. The match was in our hands initially, but Naveen’s super raid took the game away from us. From there, the match went in their favour. Still, they tied it, and then in the same 5-point raid, we also gave a super raid. Otherwise, we could have won the match.

Turning point of the game
Sunil Kumar highlighted the turning point of the game and said, “Naveen’s super raid was the turning point. If we tackled him, we would have won. We kept Naveen in the beginning and did not give him a score, but later, Naveen played very well, and that super raid was the turning point of this match.”
Thoughts on the Bengaluru Bulls
Anil Chaprana opened up about his thoughts on the Bengaluru Bulls ahead of their next game and said, “Both teams are equal. We will go with full preparation and try to rectify our mistakes. Akash Shinde and Ashish are doing well for them, and we will plan on them.”
Sunil Kumar also shared his views on the Bulls and said, “Here in PKL, no team is small or big. Everyone has made the team on equal terms. The Bengaluru Bulls played their first match well against a strong team, the Puneri Paltan. We will not take this match lightly because their team is doing well. There are Yogesh and Ankush in the defense. Both are excellent corners. So we will come with full preparation.”
Haryana Steelers
Thoughts on the game
Haryana Steelers head coach Manpreet Singh praised his team for their efforts and also applauded his captain for his heroics. He said, “We are a champion team and the team has played very well. But I want to tell you one more thing. We lost the last match, so our captain was very ill. He had a 103-104 fever.”
“So he was admitted to the hospital after the match. Today he was discharged at 4:00 pm, and at 7:00 pm he was in the match in front of you. So this shows that he is made of steel. So it starts with the captain. This is Haryana Steelers, where we lost the first match and then played the final, may God do the same this time too,” he added.
Jaideep leading from the front
Jaideep led from the front and told the media how he set an example for the entire team. He said, “I came at 4:00 pm, and the team was feeling that I would not play today. I went straight to the room, took a bath, and wore the kit before coming to the field for the match.”
“All the players were happy, and they were motivated after they knew that I would play. Then I told Coach Saheb that I am fine and I would play,” he added.
Thoughts on UP Yoddhas
Jaideep also shared his views on the UP Yoddhas ahead of their next game and said, “UP Yoddhas is a good team. They have good raiders and defenders. They are good. It is a strong team. Sumit is doing great, and there are Bhavani, Guman, Gagan, and all of them. They have a completely perfect team, so it will be fun to play.”
