PKL 12: List of all Iranian players available in auction ft. Mohammadreza Shadloui

16 Iranian players will go under the hammer in PKL 12.
The player auction for the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 12) is set to take place on May 31 and June 1. The league could return to its traditional September–November period. The auction officially kicks off the preparation for the season, where many top players will be up for grabs.
While the Indian players will be top grabbers, there will be a few overseas players who will be headliners as well. The main focus will be on Iran’s Mohammadreza Shadloui, who has led his last two teams to titles. Fazel Atrachali, another Iranian player who has not only won two titles but has also led several franchises.

On that note, let’s take a look at the list of all Iranian players available in the PKL 12 auction.
16. Amin Ghorbani
U Mumba invested in Amin Ghorbani last year, buying him for 14 lakhs. He also played some matches as a substitute. He hasn’t done anything special in PKL, but the Kabaddi world is aware of his exploits. He has tackled many stars standing at the left corner. He will be available in the auction pool for the weekend.
15. Mohammad Ghorbani
Mohammad Ghorbani is a raider and has been with the Iranian national team for a while. He was part of the historic 2018 Asian Games when Iran beat India for the first time to win the Gold. He has been with a couple of PKL teams and could be on the radar this season.

14. Mohammadreza Kaboudrahangi
Mohammadreza Kaboudrahangi is one of the promising young Iranian players. He played for Tamil Thalaivas in season 10, where he scored 19 points in six matches.
He moved to UP Yoddhas and played as a substitute whenever needed. He can be one of the players to invest in for a long time.
13. Alireza Mirzaeian
There is a certain aura around people who wear the No. 7 jersey, and Alireza Mirzaeian does that for Iran. He was with U Mumba last year and has been touted as one of the raiding sensations by their then-coach Gholamreza Mazandarani.
12. Ali Samadi
Ali Samadi is one of Iran’s rising left-wing raiders. He hasn’t played in the Pro Kabaddi League before, but the experts who have seen him in the local leagues in Iran have spoken highly about him.
His running hand touch and dive troubled many defenders, and his quickness will be one to watch out for if he makes it to PKL.
11. Alireza Khalili
Alireza Khalili has been on the radar of PKL teams for a few years. He has been part of Iran’s junior Kabaddi team, but he would want to play in the league as well. He would expect to get picked in one of the teams to experience the atmosphere of the most competitive league.
10. Amirhossein Ejlali
Defence has been Iran’s forte, and Amirhossein Ejlali is one of the stars who has nurtured that skill very well. Ejlali, at the left corner, was lethal in Iran’s local leagues. The lad is strongly built and has effected a few back holds and blocks which stop the raiders from moving. He could be the next big defending champion that Iran produces.
9. Milad Mohajer
Milad Mohajer will be a dark horse in the auction. The right raider must have caught the attention of many talent scouts from PKL.
A video is going viral on social media in which he goes to surrender but throws three defenders out of the court. Because of this X-factor, many teams can target him.
8. Ahmadreza Asgari
All-rounders are a rarity, and Ahmadreza Asgari is one of the bright picks of this rare kind. He impressed many in the World Youth Championships, winning the title.
He has been on the podium at the Asian Championships and has performed well under pressure. His short height makes him swift among the defenders to escape their hold.

7. Omid Khojasteh
Omid Khojasteh has been one of the innovative raiders in Iran currently. He was in the auction pool for the last two years, but he has been unsold in both years. He is looking forward to playing in the league and competing with the best players in the Kabaddi world.
6. Javed Mohammadi
Javed Mohammadi will be one of the new players in the auction of the 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League. Teams would like to pick him as a backup and see if they could train him for the next three months. If things went well, he could get a game or two.
5. Milad Jabbari
Season 10 was a forgettable season for Telugu Titans as they finished last for the third consecutive season. The only good thing for the team that season was that Milad performed brilliantly.
Although he played only in the second half of the tournament, he gelled well with the team. He was effective in super tackle situations and could be one of the options for backup.
4. Amirhossein Bastami
Amirhossein Bastami is one of Iran’s strongest defenders. It was unfortunate that Tamil Thalaivas had to lose their skipper, Sagar Rathee, to injury. But Bastami stepped up big time in that right corner position, scoring 51 points last season. Teams looking for a strong right corner will be eager to raise the paddle.
3. Mohammad Nabibakhsh
The all-rounders add a much-needed balance to the starting seven, and Mohammad Nabibakhsh has been doing that in PKL. He played a key role in Bengal Warriorz lifting their maiden title in season seven as they were without the services of Maninder Singh for the playoffs. It has gone the same way in the last few seasons, still he could be a player teams want to have in the squad.
2. Fazel Atrachali

One of the biggest surprises from last year’s auction was Bengal Warriorz stealing Fazel Atrachali at a base price of 50 lakhs. This was one of those days when the auction dynamics turned in Warriorz’ favour. But the season didn’t turn their way, and he has been released. He will be on the list of many teams that need a skipper to control the game on the mat.
1. Mohammadreza Shadloui

Undoubtedly, Mohammadreza Shadloui will be the most wanted player in the auction. His impact over the last four years has been unstoppable, finishing as best defender three times and making the playoffs.
To top it off, he led Puneri Paltan and Haryana Steelers to their maiden titles, and many teams with bigger purses will look to target him.
