PKL 12: Joginder Narwal gives big statement on Haryana Steelers ahead of their second clash

Haryana Steelers refused to shake hands with Dabang Delhi when the two teams last met in PKL 12.
Dabang Delhi are enjoying the best form of their lives and have become the team to beat in Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12). Joginder Narwal has transformed his team into a super unit full of match-winners.
They registered their tenth win by defeating Jaipur Pink Panthers and cemented their spot at the top of the standings. Ashu Malik was the driving force for Delhi yet again as he scored eight points while Sandeep registered seven tackle points to take his side home.
After the match, representatives from both teams addressed the media.
Dabang Delhi
Thoughts on the game
Dabang Delhi head coach Joginder Narwal spoke about his thoughts on the game and said, “Both teams are very wonderful, Jaipur did well, and their coach is also good. It was a good match, and the spectators enjoyed it. I also enjoyed this match.”
“Our team won the match, and this is a matter of happiness for us. Today our raiders made some mistakes somewhere, but they will do well in the next match, and today the defenders did very well,” he added.
Thoughts on the match against Haryana Steelers
Joginder Narwal also shared his views on his side’s next game against the Haryana Steelers and said, “The last match was very tough, and they are the best team in this league, and will play well. Both teams are good; the one that makes the fewest mistakes will win. Whoever makes the most mistakes will lose.”
Ashu Malik also spoke about the same and said, “Haryana Steelers are a good team and they are last year’s champion. It will be a good match. Jaideep is the left cover, and I am the right raider. So, for me, Rahul Shetpal will be the challenge rather than Jaideep because he is the right corner and I am the right raider. Rest, Jaideep is a good defender, and we will make a strategy for both of them.”
Jaipur Pink Panthers
Thoughts on the match
Jaipur Pink Panthers head coach Narender Redhu also opened up about his thoughts after the game and said, “There is no doubt that Delhi’s team is good. The table shows their dominance in terms of defence and offence, and they have been playing well too.”
“Our planning has been successful, but we felt that if Nitin Dhankhar were there, this match would have been in our hands. So I liked the match, but we couldn’t win,” he added.
Update on Nitin Dhankar’s injury
Redhu also spoke about Nitin Dhankar’s return to action and said, “Nitin could have played today also. But there are still many matches left to play, and we did not want to take a risk for just one match. So, we decided to give him three to four days to recover well and come back fit for the next match.”
