PKL 12: Key player battles to watch out for in Match 20, Dabang Delhi vs Jaipur Pink Panthers

Dabang Delhi will look to maintain their winning momentum against Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Day 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) will feature a high-voltage clash between Ashu Malik’s Dabang Delhi and Nitin Rawal’s Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Dabang Delhi are coming off a dramatic win against Puneri Paltan in their last match at Golden Raid. With the captain Ashu and Veteran Fazel leading from the front, Delhi will be looking for a third consecutive win to solidify their position in the top half of the points table

On the other hand, the Jaipur Pink Panthers are coming off a loss against the Tamil Thalaivas. Jaipur was trailing for the whole part of the match and was not able to find their rhythm apart from some glimpses of brilliance. Jaipur will look to bounce back from defeat and try to stop Delhi’s winning streak.

On that note, let’s take a look at the key battles to watch out for between Dabang Delhi and Jaipur Pink Panthers in PKL 12.

Ashu Malik vs Nitin Rawal

The battle between the two captains will be the marquee clash of the day as Delhi’s key raider Ashu Malik will face Jaipur’s left corner Nitin Rawal. As expected, Ashu Malik is looking unstoppable and carrying the raiding department on his shoulders.

He has scored 25 points in 2 matches, including a brilliant Super 10 in the last game, and his multi-point raids at crucial stages paved the way for Delhi to win the encounter. Jaipur needs to stop Ashu at any cost; otherwise, he will single-handedly carry Delhi’s team to the finish line.

Meanwhile, Jaipur’s captain, who had a quiet first match, looked better in the second match as he scored 3 tackle points, including a brilliant super tackle. He would want to go even better and try to put Ashu Malik on the back foot. The left corner can pose a threat to Delhi’s raiding lineup.

Fazel Atrachali vs Nitin Dhankar

The Iranian veteran Fazel Atrachali will be looking to continue his red-hot form in the third match as well. He scored a high five in the last outing and is the major threat to the opposition raiding unit. His ankle hold skills are top-notch and can stop every raider in the league. He will be a headache for Jaipur’s raider and will be the key man in Delhi’s defence.

On the other hand, Nitin Dhankar is also having a great season, scoring 26 points in 2 matches, and will be the key raider for the Jaipur Pink Panthers. The man who can stop Fazel is Nitin, their go-to raider. Nitin has been utilising his skills effectively, and if he continues like this, no one can stop Jaipur from winning the match.

Saurabh Nandal vs Ali Samadi

The right corner is having a good season so far, scoring 6 tackle points in 2 matches. Saurabh has been impressive in both matches and is providing perfect support to Fazal in the left corner. Once again in the third match, he will be crucial for Delhi’s chances and will look to stop Jaipur’s raider.

The Iranian raider, Ali Samadi, will be looking to play a pivotal role as the second raider. After impressing in the opening match, Ali couldn’t replicate the same in the second match and will be looking to bounce back after a quiet second match. If he does well, he will give Jaipur a huge boost to win the encounter.
