PKL 12 Highlights: UP Yoddhas lost to Gujarat Giants | Dabang Delhi beat Haryana Steelers

The Pro Kabaddi League will say ‘Vanakkam’ on Monday, as PKL 12 will move to Chennai for the third leg of the league.

Known as the birthplace of Kabaddi, Tamil Nadu fans will welcome teams for high-octane action scheduled for the next two weeks. UP Yoddhas will face Gujarat Giants in the first match of the third leg.

The Giants have played eight games, winning only one, and are in last place in the points table. They were forced to bench their skipper, Mohammadreza Shadloui, and none of their players have performed consistently.

Yoddhas are coming from a confident-boosting win over Bengaluru Bulls in a tie-breaker. Both teams with different forms would want to start their Chennai leg of PKL 12 with a win.

The opening night of the Chennai leg will feature a blockbuster contest as table-toppers Dabang Delhi take on defending champions Haryana Steelers in Match 54 of Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12).

Dabang Delhi are on a roll, notching up multiple wins. Apart from a slight miscalculation in the final minutes against Patna Pirates, they have been clinical. They were a couple of wins away from ensuring a place in the top eight. A win against Haryana will definitely stamp their domination this season.

It won’t be easy against Haryana as they have been in great form, winning six of the eight games they have played.

The focus will be on bringing in some consistency, as they had a scare last game when Tamil Thalaivas almost pulled off a win out of nowhere. It will be a battle of equals and a great way to start the third leg of PKL 12.
