PKL 12: Will Aslam Inamdar play against Jaipur Pink Panthers tonight?

Aslam Inamdar missed Puneri Paltan’s previous match in PKL 12.

Season 10 champions Puneri Paltan are set to lock horns with the Jaipur Pink Panthers in match 63 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) on Saturday, October 4, at the SDAT multi-purpose Indoor Stadium in Chennai.

Jaipur Pink Panthers are placed fifth in the standings with 12 points from 10 matches, including six wins and four losses.

Meanwhile, Puneri Paltan are second in the PKL 2025 points table with 16 points and a score difference of 56. They have registered eight wins and three losses from 11 encounters thus far in the ongoing edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.

Puneri missed the services of Aslam Inamdar during their previous Chennai leg encounter against the Bengaluru Bulls. The match ended 29-29 after full-time, and the Pune-based franchise defeated the Bulls 6-4 in the tie-breaker.

On that note, let’s take a look at whether Aslam will be in action during Pune’s upcoming contest against the Jaipur-based franchise.

Will Aslam Inamdar play tonight?

Puneri Paltan captain Aslam Inamdar missed the franchise’s previous match against the Bengaluru Bulls in PKL 12 due to illness. The franchise had confirmed before the game via a social media post.

“Aslam will be sitting out tonight’s clash against Bengaluru Bulls as he’s unwell,” the social media post read.

Puneri Paltan head coach Ajay Thakur had confirmed that Aslam Inamdar is fully fit and will return for the franchise’s next encounter. He was quoted as saying during the post-match press conference after their victory against the Bulls:

He said, “Aslam will come in the next match. He was ready to play this match too, but I did not want to make his injury worse. We have good raiders on the bench in Sachin and Pankaj. So, today we decided to rest him. He will make his comeback in the next match 100%.”

Aslam earned 47 points (36 raid points and 11 tackle points) from 10 matches thus far in the 12th edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. He has 1 Super Raid, one Super 10, and two Super Tackles so far this season.
