PKL 12: Jaideep Dahiya gives big statement on Haryana Steelers' management & coach

Haryana Steelers registered their seventh win in PKL 12 by defeating Patna Pirates.
Defending champions Haryana Steelers took a sigh of relief as they ended their five-match losing streak in Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12).
The Steelers emerged victorious against the Patna Pirates and secured their first win since September 20. Shivam Patare led the line with perfection and notched up 12 raid points, while skipper Jaideep Dahiya racked up another high-five.
After the game, representatives from both teams addressed the media.

Team’s performance
Speaking about his team’s performance, Haryana Steelers head coach Manpreet Singh said, Jaideep and Rahul are my key players. They were playing well in Chennai also and were making a lot of tackles, but luck was missing somewhere.”
“Jaideep and Rahul also played very well. Vinay, Shivam, and Ghanshyam are scoring points in raiding. So when your entire team performs unitedly, the team does well. I’m happy that the entire team has performed,” he added.

Support from team management
Jaideep spoke about the support that the players received from the management and said, “Our Coach Sahab and management were motivating us completely, and today’s win is the result of that. We will try to maintain the same in the future also, and we will try to compensate for the five losses we have faced and win all five.”

What went wrong?
Patna Pirates defence coach Randeep Dalal opened up about what went wrong for his side and said, “We had the lead in the first half and the team was playing very well. However, mistakes occurred somewhere, and then there were two catches in a row, followed by a couple of defensive mistakes as well. From there onwards, the momentum of the match shifted towards Haryana, and then Haryana took a slight lead.
On Mistakes
Skipper Ankit Jaglan highlighted the mistakes made by his team and said, “The defense made a mistake in this match as well. Ghanshyam took two points, and that changed the game. We will try not to make the mistake that happened in this match in the next match.”
Thoughts on the next match
Dalal shared his views on the Gujarat Giants ahead of their next match and said, “No team in the league can be considered weak. Gujarat Giants are a good team, and after winning two to three matches in a row, they have regained their form. It is a complete team in terms of defence and raiding. We will plan and play the match accordingly, and it will be a good match with them. We will definitely try to win against Gujarat.”
