PKL 12: Arjun Deshwal blames himself for Tamil Thalaivas' poor performance

UP Yoddhas registered their third win in PKL 12 by defeating Tamil Thalaivas.
The trouble continues for the Tamil Thalaivas, who faced yet another defeat in Jaipur and, as a result, have fallen in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) standings. Thalaivas have now lost three consecutive games and have just six points from eight games.
Meanwhile, the UP Yoddhas must have taken a sigh of relief after bringing an end to their winless run. Gagan Gowda and Sumit Sangwan led the way for the Yoddhas to clinch their third win in PKL 12.
After the game, representatives from both teams addressed the media and shared their thoughts.
Tamil Thalaivas
Message to the players
Tamil Thalaivas captain Arjun Deshwal spoke about what his message would be to his players in such a difficult time. He said, “I tell them that it’s okay that mistakes are being made, it doesn’t matter, even if you win. There were more mistakes in the last match, but we played well, and today the defence was good. I could not perform that well. So, I will look into the mistakes, that’s it.”

Thoughts on the game
Sumit Sangwan shared his views on the win and said, “We lost four matches continuously. The whole team played well today, defense and offense. We will try to play well in the next match also. The entire team played well, so we won today.”
Bhavani Singh Rajput’s performance
UP Yoddhas assistant coach Upendra Malik appreciated Bhavani Singh Rajput for his performance. He said, “Yes, absolutely Bhavani has done well in this match, and earlier also we had expectations from him, but it was not happening. Today Bhavani did well, and in between, Gagan Gowda took good points in the defense. We also used Shivam, so I can say that not only Bhavani, but all three raiders have done well.“
Thoughts on the Bengaluru Bulls
Upendra Malik also spoke about the Bengaluru Bulls ahead of their next game and said, “Bengaluru Bulls have all the young players and they are doing well. Their team is working like a unit. So, we will focus on their defense, those who are playing inside as well as the players who are outside, and will do good homework for them, and we hope that our match will be good.”
