PKL 12: List of players released, retained by Telugu Titans ahead of auction

Telugu Titans have released multiple star players ahead of the auction.

Telugu Titans have taken big decisions ahead of the Pro Kabaddi League season 12 (PKL 12) auction. The men in yellow have released their skipper, Pawan Sehrawat, for the second straight year before the auction. They have also let go of two other stars, Vijay Malik and Ashish Narwal, whose all-round skills provided the much-needed balance to the team.

Titans expressed much confidence in Krishan Dhull last season. But the right corner had a season to forget as he could amass only 21 points in 19 games. Having let go of these four, they have given themselves a bigger purse to go shopping on May 31 and June 1. It was surprising to see that they even released Sanjeev and Manjeet, who had done well in the Titans jersey.

Telugu Titans have retained eight players, having vested huge faith in Shankar Gadai and Ajit Pawar. Ankit was their best defender at the left corner last season and has been retained as a Young player.

He was well supported by Sagar Sethpal, who was one of the few players to play all the matches, helping them finish seventh in the points table. More importantly, they avoided being the wooden spooners for the fourth consecutive season. Pawan Sehrawat, Vijay Malik, Krishan Dhull, Omkar Patil, Ashish Narwal, Manjeet, Milad Jabbari, Sunder, Amit Kumar, Sanjeevi S, Mohammad Malak.

List of players retained by the team:

Shankar Bhimraj Gadai, Ajit Pandurang Pawar, Ankit, Praful Zaware, Sagar, Chetan Sahu, Nitin, Rohit.
