PKL 12: UP Yoddhas full squad list ft. Guman Singh

UP Yoddhas have retained the most number of elite players.
UP Yoddhas have created a strong squad for the Pro Kabaddi League season 12 (PKL 12). They understood the balance their team needed and conducted their auction strategy likewise. Despite limited funds in the auction, the Yoddhas bought good players.
UP Yoddhas are one of the franchises continuing under the same coach. As Jasveer Singh continues to be UP Yoddhas’ coach, he has kept the core of the team intact from the previous season. The Yoddhas placed a heavy emphasis on retention. They retained 5 players under the Elite Retained Players (ERP) category. Moreover, they used both their Final Bid Match card as well.
UP Yoddhas have a stellar raiding department. The Yoddhas retained the crucial raiders like Bhavani Rajput, Surender Gill, and Gagan Gowda. Whereas they bagged big names like Guman Singh and Pranay Rane in the auction to provide the spark in their lineup. With this raiding lineup, they will certainly be confident of performing well in the upcoming season.
Similar to their raiding prowess, the Yoddhas have a brilliant defensive department as well. Jasveer Singh’s Yoddhas retained their main defenders, such as Sumit, Hitesh, Ashu Singh, and Sahul Kumar. In addition to them, they clinched back Mohammadreza Kaboudraahangi and Mahender Singh through FBM and Ronak in the auction.
The team management has expressed full confidence in including specialists in the squad and has refrained from including all-rounders. They were able to create good combinations in both the raiding and defence departments. On that note, let’s look at the full squad of UP Yoddhas for PKL 12.
UP Yoddhas squad for PKL 12:
