PKL 12: Why did Aslam Inamdar miss tonight's clash against Jaipur Pink Panthers?

Aslam Inamdar missed his second consecutive match in PKL 12.
Season 10 champions Puneri Paltan are taking on the Jaipur Pink Panthers in match 63 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12) on Saturday, October 4, at the SDAT multi-purpose Indoor Stadium in Chennai.
Jaipur Pink Panthers are placed fifth in the standings with 12 points from 10 matches, including six wins and four losses.
Meanwhile, Puneri Paltan are second in the PKL 2025 points table with 16 points and a score difference of 56. They have registered eight wins and three losses from 11 encounters thus far in the ongoing edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.
As you know, Puneri missed the services of their captain, Aslam Inamdar, during their previous Chennai leg encounter against the Bengaluru Bulls. Raider Pankaj Mohite led the side during Aslam’s absence.
After that match, Puneri Paltan head coach Ajay Thakur confirmed that Aslam is fully fit and will return for the franchise’s next encounter against Jaipur Pink Panthers. Ahead of this clash, Puneri confirmed that Aslam will also miss this match.

“Aslam is fit and has been rested for today’s game,” the social media post read.
Pankaj Mohite will once again lead the side in his absence. Aslam has earned 47 points (36 raid points and 11 tackle points) in 10 encounters so far in the ongoing edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.
He has been a vital cog for the Pune-based franchise, and they will surely miss his services in tonight’s match. Aslam has one Super Raid, a Super 10, and 2 Super Tackles to his name and 26 tackles.
