PKL 9: Top 10 raiders teams will look to sign in auction

Multiple teams are expected to bid for these players.

There is not much time left for the auction of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 9. At the same time, before the auction process, all the 12 teams have released the list of their respective retained players.

During this, some teams took very shocking decisions and released many such players which no one expected. Now, these legendary players will be part of the auction and many teams can bid for them.

10. Rohit Kumar

Under the captaincy of Rohit Kumar, Bengaluru Bulls won the PKL title. Last season he was a part of Telugu Titans and it probably proved to be the worst season for him. He would like to forget it as soon as possible. The team has released him and Rohit Kumar will also be a part of the PKL auction. Teams are expected to bid for him because of his exceptional leadership skills.

9. Abhishek Singh

Abhishek Singh is one of the young players who have led U Mumba in raiding for the last two PKL seasons. The last season also went well for him and he scored 179 points in 22 matches. Abhishek is very famous for his hand touch and his this skill makes him stand different from others. However, after being released by U Mumba, his name will now be in the auction list.

8. Monu Goyat

Monu Goyat is counted among the best raiders in Pro Kabaddi League history. He has played for many teams till now and was part of Patna Pirates team in PKL Season 8. Although his performance was exceptional and that is why the team has released him. He will also be a part of the auction with these legendary raiders.

7. Sachin Tanwar

Sachin Tanwar surprised everyone while playing for Patna Pirates last PKL season. The reason for this is that he had scored 181 points in raiding and was the ninth highest point taker of the league. No one expected this, but despite this, Patna Pirates has released him and he will also come in the auction this time.

6. Vikas Kandola

Vikas Kandola of Haryana Steelers played a total of 22 matches in the last PKL season and scored 180 points during this time. However, the team has released him before the upcoming auction and he will be a part of the auction process. Vikash Kandola is one of the best raiders of PKL and many teams can bid for him during the auction.

5. Nitin Tomar

Nitin Tomar is one of the legendary players of Kabaddi. However, he has been struggling for the last few years. In PKL Season 8 for Puneri Paltan, he was able to get only 61 points in 18 matches. He was the main raider of the team but his game did not match the level. Now, he will be a part of the auction this time.

4. Siddharth Desai

The last PKL season did not go well for Siddharth Desai. He was able to take part in only three matches and after that he got injured. However, during these three matches, Siddharth had achieved 35 points. He is a player who has the ability to win matches alone when he is fully fit. So, all eyes will be on him too.

3. Rahul Chaudhari

Rahul Chaudhari is one of the highest scorers in the history of PKL. However, in the eighth season, he was able to get only 13 points in seven matches. In many matches, he did not even get a place in the last 12. This shows how disappointed he was. However, Rahul Chaudhari has a lot of experience and that is why teams can bid for him. It will be interesting to see if he is sold or not in this PKL auction.

2. Pawan Sehrawat

The most shocking decision was taken by Bengaluru Bulls when they released his captain Pawan Sehrawat . Pawan has won the title of PKL to Bengaluru Bulls on the basis of his strong performance, but Bengaluru released him before the auction. Now, he will be a part of the auction and all eyes will be on him. Last season, Pawan had scored the maximum raid points and that is why this time everyone's eyes will be on him in the auction.

1. Pardeep Narwal

Pardeep Narwal, the most successful raider in PKL history, has been released by UP Yoddha. Narwal was bought by UP Yoddha in the PKL Season 8 auction for ₹1.65 crore and he became the most expensive player in PKL history. However, his performance in Season 8 was not out of the way and he was seen struggling a lot. He was even benched on several occasions. Despite this, Pardeep Narwal can get a very expensive bid in the upcoming auction.
