In all, six defenders have scored over 300 tackle points so far.

Since its beginning in the year 2014, the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) has made India's most famous domestic sport even more popular. The main objective behind the commencement of this league was to give a good platform to the players, in which it has also been a complete success. Today, this league is the second most followed Indian league after the Indian Premier League (IPL) in terms of viewership. In the last eight seasons, many domestic and foreign players have spread their glory in this Kabaddi league.

As many as the great raiders in PKL history, there have been great defenders as well. If a team has to win the PKL title, then it has to perform well in both raid and defense. If the defense of a team is not good then it can lose the race of winning the title. In this list, we will tell you about the defenders who have scored 300 or more tackle points in the history of PKL.

6.Girish Maruti Ernak – 308 points

Girish Ernak has played for many teams in the Pro Kabaddi League. His biggest strength lies in his block. Girish's body is quite sturdy and helps a lot in blocking him. He has stunned many raiders through his swift move. Girish Ernak has so far scored 308 tackle points in 125 matches and is the sixth defender to have more than 300 tackle points to his name.

5.Surjeet Singh – 331 points

Surjeet Singh is the fifth such defender in this list to have scored more than 300 tackle points in PKL history. He has so far scored 331 points in 114 matches. Surjeet started his career in the Pro-Kabaddi League in 2016 with the Puneri Paltan team and then played for teams like U Mumba and Bengal Warriors. Last season he was also the captain of Tamil Thalaivas.

4. Ravinder Pahal – 338 Points

Nicknamed "The Hawk" Ravinder Pahal when catches a raider's ankle once, then it is next to impossible to escape from him. He has beaten many legendary raiders throughout his PKL career. Ravinder Pahal is the fourth most successful defender in the history of the league with 338 points from 120 matches. He also played for Puneri Paltan and Bengaluru Bulls early in his career. Apart from this, he was part of Dabang Delhi in the sixth and seventh seasons and played for Gujarat Giants in the eighth season.

3.Sandeep Narwal – 348 points

Sandeep Narwal is also an extraordinary all-rounder player. Playing as a corner defender, Sandeep specializes in body block moves that can swiftly break the raider's movement. In the history of PKL, he has so far got 348 tackle points in 149 matches. Last season he was a part of the Dabang Delhi team and played a very important role in making the team champion. Apart from this, Sandeep Narwal's name is also in the list of all-rounders who have scored 500 or more points by combining raiding and defense in the Pro Kabaddi League.

2. Fazel Atrachali – 368 points

“Sultan” Fazel Atrachali is second on this list. The Iranian Kabaddi player has defeated the biggest raiders with his back hold and has so far scored 368 tackle points in 125 matches. Fazel Atrachali scored the most tackle points in season four and season seven of the Pro Kabaddi League. In addition, he is the only overseas player to have scored more than 300 tackle points in the league. Left-corner U-Mumba captain Atrachali has also played for Patna Pirates and Gujarat Giants in his career.

1. Manjeet Chhillar – 391 points

The record for most tackle points in PKL history is held by Manjeet Chhillar, who was part of the winning Dabang Delhi team in the eighth season. Manjeet is the only defender to have more than 375 tackle points to his name in the Kabaddi tournament. Apart from Manjeet, there are only five defenders in PKL history who have more than 300 tackle points to their name. Talking about Manjeet Chhillar, he has got 391 tackle points in 132 matches so far and he is the most successful defender in the Pro Kabaddi League.
