Patna Pirates have seen their matches being rescheduled as well.

Gujarat Giants will not play against Bengaluru Bulls in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 8 on Sunday. The organizers of the league have been forced to reschedule their match after COVID-19 struck Gujarat Giants' camp.

As Khel Now had informed you on Friday, Patna Pirates have already rescheduled two of their matches this season due to COVID-19 cases in their camp. Now, PKL has announced that they have rescheduled Gujarat Giants' match against Bengaluru Bulls. Telugu Titans will now play against Bengaluru Bulls on 23rd January, Sunday. They will look to come back in form and register their second win of the ongoing season.

A source close to developments about COVID-19 cases in Patna Pirates' camp had said, “The rescheduling of both of Patna Pirates' matches have come at a pretty much unexpected time. However, it is believed that staff members or players from the Patna Pirates’ camp have tested positive for COVID-19.”

“The organizers of the league have given enough time to Patna Pirates to solve this crisis. They wanted the team to come on the mat with all players fit and ready to go. However, their efforts were hammered when they got to know about a COVID-19 outbreak in another PKL team,” the source added.
