Puneri Paltan hold the top spot at the end of Day 49 of PKL 12.

Wednesday featured three thrilling clashes in Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12), which brought clarity to the points table and the top 8 qualification race.

In the opening match, the Haryana Steelers defeated the Telugu Titans, making it difficult for the Titans to stay in contention for a top 4 finish.

The second encounter saw the Bengaluru Bulls dominate the Bengal Warriorz, registering a massive 30-point victory. With this loss, the Warriorz became the first team to be eliminated from the top 8 race.

In the final match of the day, the Patna Pirates took on the home side Dabang Delhi. With Delhi starting with their bench players, the Pirates faced little resistance and cruised to an easy win, significantly improving their chances of qualifying for the top 8.

Puneri Paltan have now officially confirmed their top spot finish after Dabang Delhi‘s loss today, with 26 points to their name. Delhi remained in second place, also with 26 points. Bengaluru Bulls climbed to third position following a massive win today, taking their tally to 20 points.

Telugu Titans slipped to fourth place with 20 points, and their hopes of a top-four finish now depend on the results of the other teams. Haryana Steelers moved up to fifth place with 20 points after their victory earlier today. U Mumba dropped down to sixth with 20 points.

Jaipur Pink Panthers continue to hold the seventh position with 16 points, while Patna Pirates jumped two spots to eighth after a big win, taking their total to 14 points. Tamil Thalaivas have now been pushed to the ninth spot with 12 points, officially ending their tournament run.

Gujarat Giants and UP Yoddhas sit just behind them in the 10th and 11th positions, also with 12 points. Bengal Warriorz remain at the bottom of the table with 12 points, confirming their elimination from the top 8 race.

Top five raiders after match 105 of PKL 12:

Devank Dalal, despite missing the last two matches, continues to dominate the leaderboard as the season’s top raider with 271 raid points. Ayan Lohchab added some points to his tally and remains in second place with 233 raid points. Arjun Deshwal holds the third position with 209 raid points.

Bharat Hooda strengthened his hold on the fourth spot after adding more to his total, taking him to 172 raid points, while Alireza Mirzaian closely follows in fifth with 170 raid points.

Top five defenders after match 105 of PKL 12:

Jaideep Dahiya reclaimed the top spot in the list of leading tackle point scorers with 67 tackle points to his name. Nitesh Kumar dropped to second place with 65 tackle points. Deepak Sankar climbed up a position after his impressive performance today and now sits third with 55 tackle points.

Gaurav Khatri holds the fourth position with 50 tackle points, while Fazel Atrachali retains his fifth spot with 49 tackle points.
