Puneri Paltan remains in first place at the end of Day 6 of PKL 12.

Puneri Paltan have left no stones unturned in turning up the ante at the twelfth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 12).

Ajay Thakur’s side secured their third win on the trot and defeated an in-form Bengal Warriorz side in the first match at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Vizag. Skipper Aslam Inamdar led the way with eleven points, along with Akash Shinde, who also scored 11 points and guided their side to a win.

In the second match, we witnessed the third tie breaker of PKL 12 as the defending champions, Haryana Steelers, opened their account with a win against U Mumba.

It was a close contest between the teams. Naveen Kumar and Vinay played their roles to perfection while the defenders kept things tight at the back.

At the end of the sixth day, Puneri Paltan remained at the top of the table with six points in three games. The UP Yoddhas remain second with two points, while U Mumba are in third place with two points. Dabang Delhi have climbed to the fourth position with two points, while the Jaipur Pink Panthers have come up to fifth.

The Bengal Warriorz have slipped down to the fourth position with two points in two games. Tamil Thalaivas are seventh with two points in two games.

The Haryana Steelers have come up to the eighth spot with two points, while the Patna Pirates have dropped down to ninth. Bengaluru Bulls are now ranked tenth, followed by the Telugu Titans at eleventh. The Gujarat Giants are still at the bottom of the table.

After today’s matches, there have been several changes in the green band race. Devank Dalal has jumped up to the first position with 38 raid points in two games.

Aditya Shinde is ranked second with 26 raid points, followed by Ajit Chouhan, who also has 26 raid points to his name. Arjun Deshwal has slipped down to fourth with 24 raid points in two outings. Shivam Patare completes the top five 23 raid points in two matches.

Gurdeep now holds the fourth position with 10 tackle points. Lastly, Vishal Bharadwaj, who has scored eight tackle points in three games, moves to fifth position.
