Puneri Paltan holds the top spot at the end of Day 21 of PKL 12.

Defending champions Haryana Steelers secured a win and the bragging rights over Puneri Paltan in the first game of Day 21 of Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 (PKL 12).

The Steelers looked the better side from the get-go and did not let Puneri come back into the tie, and maintained the lead from the start. Vinay scored 13 points while Shivam notched up eight points to take the Steelers over the line.

In the second match, the Telugu Titans defeated their neighbours and arch-rivals, Tamil Thalaivas. The Titans finally bounced back to winning ways with a much-needed win after three defeats on the trot.

Vijay Malik and Bharat Hooda accumulated eight points while Ankit and Shubham Shinde scored a combined tally of six tackle points.

Puneri Paltan remained at the first position on the table with 12 points, followed by Dabang Delhi at the second position with twelve points in six games. Haryana Steelers have been promoted to the third spot following their win.

Telugu Titans have jumped up to the fourth position with eight points. Jaipur Pink Panthers have been relegated to the fifth position with eight points, while U Mumba completes the top six with eight points.

Bengaluru Bulls have dropped down to the seventh spot with six points, followed by the Tamil Thalaivas at eighth with six points. UP Yoddhas stayed firm at the ninth position with four points.

Bengal Warriorz have not moved and are ranked tenth on the table with four points. The eleventh and twelfth positions are held by Patna Pirates and Gujarat Giants, respectively, with two points each.

Top five raiders after Match 42 of PKL 12:

Devank Dalal maintains his lead at the top of the race with 109 points. Nitin Dhankar holds the second position with 87 raid points, while Ashu Malik also remains firm at the third position with 77 raid points.

Bharat Hooda has been promoted to the fourth position with 74 points, while Vijay Malik completes the top five with 73 raid points.

Gaurav Khatri is still leading the charts with 30 tackle points. Gurdeep has been promoted to second with 24 tackle points, while Vishal Bharadwaj takes the third spot with 23 tackle points.

Ashish Malik has been relegated to the fourth spot with 23 tackle points. Jaideep Dahiya is the latest name on the list and is currently ranked fifth with 21 tackle points.
