The Bulls will be playing their next match against Tamil Thalaivas.

Leading the Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 points table, Bengaluru Bulls have been performing exceptionally well under the captaincy of their star raider Pawan Sehrawat. The team are also coached by a leading figure in Randhir Singh.

In their previous match against U Mumba, Bengaluru Bulls lost by 34-45, despite a scintillating performance from Sehrawat. The defenders of the losing team produced a weak performance which led to their defeat.

Randhir Singh was clearly very disappointed with the performance of his defenders. He remarked, “The defence needs to step up to win matches. We can win matches if the defenders bring their top game. Bengaluru Bulls started very well, but after 2-3 matches we lost the balance.”

The bulls coach was all praise for Pawan Sehrawat’s good form in the league. Talking about match pressure on the captain, he said, “There is no pressure on Pawan by me or his team. We only get worried when he is not on the mat.”

"High-flyer" Pawan Sehrawat played well in the match. However, he accepted the fact that he wasn't able to perform at his very best due to a hole in their defence. The captain opined, "I faced many tackles throughout the match. On the other hand, my team’s defence was low.”

The 25-year-old also talked about his relationship with the opponents in the league. He stated, “They are my friends outside of the game. In the match, they are my opponents. Fazel (Atrachali) and I play competitively against each other. His team’s coordination was good and hence, they won."

U Mumba’s raider Abhishek Singh took 11 raid points against Bengaluru Bulls. He talked about his team’s defensive strategy against Pawan’s raids. “Pawan is an amazing raider. When he plays, he takes continuous points. So, when playing against him we have to take continuous points, only then can we survive in the match.”

The upcoming matches of Bengaluru Bulls will be worth watching. They will be playing their next match against Tamil Thalaivas in the league on January 30, Sunday.
