The ranking system is seeing the usual stars lead the rest of the competition.

Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 is well underway and the action is picking up pace with each game. Fans are getting treated to some of the finest Kabaddi action by the respective teams, which are fighting for victory. The tough competition and lack of any margin of error see very close encounters in the league.

Matches get decided by individual brilliance and tactical prowess. Many teams are riding on their star players' influence this season. Khel Now’s Power Rankings system is covering the Pro Kabaddi League as well this year. Two phases have been completed so far, which has seen stiff competition from the best players.

The third phase was over recently and many usual suspects delivered major performances during that time, racking up a lot of points. Here is the list of top 10 players according to the points criteria of the Power Rankings:

Note: Phase 2 started on 1 January and ended on 20 January 2022

10. Vijay Malik (Dabang Delhi) - 18

Vijay Malik has been a strong performer in the last few days for Dabang Delhi. While Naveen Kumar was struggling for form and with injuries, Vijay Malik proved to be brilliant support in his place. He racked up 18 points and enters the top 10 of the Power Rankings.

9. Surender Gill (UP Yoddha) - 21

6. Vikash Kandola (Haryana Steelers) - 26

Haryana Steelers are also a team who rely on their strong defence to win games. However, they have a phenomenal raider in Vikash Kandola, who is a consistent performer for the team.

In one of his best performances of the season, he managed 17 points against UP Yoddha, where his team’s total was only 36.

5. Manjeet (Tamil Thalaivas) - 33

The tall and lanky Manjeet may not be the fastest and strongest, but he makes up for it with his range. The raider for Tamil Thalaivas is amongst the best performers of the season and has over 33 points from the Power Rankings points system. He recently scored 12 points against Gujarat Giants.
