So far only four raiders have scored 300+ raid points in a single season of PKL.

The Pro Kabaddi League has grown rapidly in the last few years and the buzz around this league remains throughout the year, just like the buzz around IPL. PKL 11 ended on December 29, 2024, and preparations for the next season have begun, with several teams announcing new coaches, conducting trials, and hiring new talent.

The Raiders have powered the buzz and glamour of the game with their fancy moves like Dubki, Jump over the Chain, Running hand touch, etc. The excitement would go to the next level if the Raiders could pick up multiple points in a single Raid. Some players have become masters of the trade as they score points in a heap not just in a game but in the entire season.

On that note, here we take a look at the list of raiders with 300+ raid points in a single Pro Kabaddi League season.

4. Devank Dalal – PKL 11

Patna Pirates are known for unleashing young talent who ends up dominating the season. The three-time champion introduced everyone to the talent of Devank Dalal in PKL 11. Having been part of Jaipur Pink Panthers for seasons 9 and 10, the 22-year-old couldn’t make much of an impact.

His brilliance came to the fore in the game against Tamil Thalaivas, when he single-handedly won the match for Patna with a 25-point performance.

This performance not only derailed the Thalaivas’ journey but also started troubling every team they played against. He scored 301 points with 18 Super 10s and an average of 12.04 points per game. His agility and game awareness at a young age caught the eye of all the experts. He helped his team make it to the finals but fell short of the trophy against Haryana Steelers.

3. Naveen Kumar – PKL 7

Naveen Kumar and season seven are a story to be told separately. He made his debut in the previous season for Dabang Delhi, and they realised his potential, which made them retain the talented raider. Season seven had no red light for the Naveen Express as he stream-rolled past every opponent that came his way. He amassed 301 raid points in 23 games with an average of 13.08 points.

In the 23 games, Naveen scored Super 10 in 22 games. Super 10 seemed to be a tradition whenever he stepped onto the mat during the season. He powered his team to the finals where they have a Maninder Singh-less Bengal Warriorz.

Naveen put out a lion-hearted performance scoring 18 points but that couldn’t stop Bengal from winning the finals 39-34. Ironically, Naveen led Delhi in the next season.

2. Pawan Sehrawat – PKL 7 & 8

Talents are like floods, no dam can stop them from flowing with full force. Pawan Sehrawat is such a talent that he quickly came up the ranks. He made his PKL debut with Bengaluru Bulls in season three and top-scored for them.

The next few seasons were quiet as he never hogged the limelight. The Chandigarh-born player returned to the Bulls in the sixth season and helped them win their maiden title.

Just like Devank, his 20 raid-point performance against Tamil Thalaivas showed the star within him. He brought his best performance in season seven scoring a staggering 346 Raid points, topping the raid charts.

He scored 39 points in a game against Haryana Steelers which is still a record for most points for a player in a single game. He doubled it the following season, scoring 304 points, which helped them make three consecutive playoffs for the first time.

1. Pardeep Narwal – PKL 5 & 7

Pardeep Narwal

The tagline of Record Breaker is a perfect fit for ‘Dubki King’ as Pardeep Narwal has redefined the way raiders play. Dominating the opponents is one factor, but doing it with abandon is something worth watching for the fans. After winning consecutive titles in Season 3 and 4, Pardeep was all set to make it a hattrick.

The addition of four new teams didn’t deter him. The dominance rose to the next level as he became the first player to score 300 points in a season. He ended the season with a mind-boggling 369 raid points leading them to their third title in three seasons.

He once again breached the 300 mark in season seven scoring 302 points making him the first player to break the triple-hundred mark in two seasons.
